You're from Florida so you are aware that the dog is a prime source of food for alligators so keep dogs/pets away from banks of lake. The garage build is next level! I always cut the slot for the preformed lintel which I install before removing the opening for a door or window in CBS construction.

now if you take the pvc for the vac in the cabinet back apart, and get some krylon paint for plastic, and paint it black so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb when the cabinet door is open. you could also go all in, and get black pvc for in the cabinet.

When you cut the block wall for your side door bag the whole area. Tape plastic tight to the ceiling and floor as the block dust will go everywhere.

There are products like ZipWall that can be installed freestanding with seals along both the floor and ceiling. Makes ingress/egress a lot easier if the project runs longer than a few days.

Watching at 7am in Ireland, currently -2 degrees looking out at frost and listening to you guys complain about how cold it is there. Our summers aren’t as warm as you have it now 😂. Love how the garage is coming together

I’m still in the electrical/insulation phase with my detached garage but these videos give me a lot of inspiration and ideas for when I get further along. The back cabinets are next level and not sure if the bank of wife will ever let me go that far but I can dream. One question, have you ever considered a flip down ceiling mount for the TV? Would pull up out of the way when not in use and open the wall space for more cabinets or shelving.

Mike the less fittings the better.. A 90 degree elbow can cause pressure loss of 30 to 50 pressure drop. It may be different for a vacuum.
