The production didn't have enough in the budget to afford proper audio equipment because the production and execs did something else with the money. Can people leave him alone? Gratefully, he 97% of the time keeps his eloquent composure and responses honest, sharp, and with diplomacy unless the question is invasive and perhaps coming from a place of misunderstanding, and or self lack, therefore possibly herd mentality questioning. Additionally, what one person in the world has manifested the opportunity for space travel, colonization on mars because of Earth's life projections, built a car company that helps the longevity of Earth and humanity, working on AI so that it is not accidently given the ability to put us at the mercy of advanced machine intelligence and rather make sure we use it as a collaborative deep learning effort to benefit people and civilizations? He is not trying to keep himself alive longer, although he probably should. Just imagine the life of humanity if he did live longer. Someone hopefully has the ability, heartfelt intention, idealism, wise quick action and wherewithal in 10, 20, 50 years, or whenever he shall pass, to pull those reigns. 💛🙏🌎🌍

When he does these "normal" interview's with either mainstream news or the Don Lemons of this world, they cant comprehend the responsibility he takes on nor understand how hyper quick and accurate his mind works and quickly exposes most presenter's as mere fools.

Legally he can’t. Not US born. I don’t think he’d want to even if he could. He’s a technologist not a politician.

It's difficult to interview Elon badly, but Mark Read manages it here! This is supposed, by Read's own suggestion, to be a creative conference, but he is the exact opposite and so deadens the most exciting, positive and creative person and subject in business today! How can he possibly not be better prepared for this interview? Further he represents the creative industries poorly. Which brands would want Read's WPP representing them after this show?

I can't understand how someone like Elon Musk, who is so interested in how the world works, doesn't take a month to verify if phenomena like OBE (Out-of-Body Experience), which millions of people around the world talk about, are real. I dedicated some time to it, and after a month, I managed to leave my body for a short moment for the first time. I saw my body from another perspective, and my view of the world and consciousness changed forever. Someone like Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and highly respected worldwide, knows less about the world and consciousness than I do. I am just an ordinary person working a regular job. All it took was not blindly believing everything considered the "only true reality" and finding out for myself.

LOL As fun an idea that is, two counterpoints. 1. You need to be a US born citizen to be president (and consequently vice-president) 2. Elon would be LESS able to do good things if he was president. Still a funny idea.

Elon musk should run the united states. His ideological understanding of the world is second to none. He understands the world in a way that most do not. He single handedly could mold the future of humanity in a very positive and profound way. In a world where there are enough resources for everyone(once pried from the hands of the elite) the things he could do to lift us up out of the muck are limitless. With people like him in the world hope is a very real thing.
