Also, first real specification he tells you about it “it’s filled with something high tech called polystyrene. Which is....the same thing you’ll find in every other bean bag that costs not $400. But trust them, they say it’s they’re own special type of polystyrene.”

@leonard59804 жыл бұрын
I got my moon pod on Thursday and spent the weekend trying it out. I really like it! You can debate whether the hefty price tag is worth it, but it is NOT a scam. The beads within really are not just garden variety beads, they do conform your shape. And the longer you sit, the more it contours to your body. There's a bit of a learning curve to how to sit in it. It's an art form to sit in the perfect position but you get used to it. When you get out, it's like you're the top piece holding everything together in an arch, the beads immediately collapse to their default shape, pretty cool. It is indeed hard to get out of. No worse than a normal beanbag. You NEED the extra headrest/armrest thing. That's what makes the product really shine, for me at least. I also got the footrest and while I wouldn't say that is essential, it's nice. I have lower back pain, but I don't when I'm in the moon pod. The pain even seems less so far, when out of the moon pod. Do I wish the Mon pod was cheaper? Of course. I do suspect it doesn't cost much to produce. But it's not a scam as many have claimed. There really is some next level high tech thing going on here. I can't honestly say my expectations weren't met. Bottom line is, there will be no attempt to return the moon pod. I really like it. For reference, i'm 5'10, 185 lbs. Fortysomething. Fit-ish, with a few extra pounds. Hope this review within a review helps.
@pixxel173 жыл бұрын
Agreed, this is not a scam. Yes there are cheaper beanbags but they do not have the same feeling as this. I am 5-4” so I can fit my entire body on the pod, Today I fell asleep on the monopod and I really did feel like I was floating. This is not a gimmick, it felt amazing and super comfortable. I have a Nectar mattress and the monopod felt more comfortable than my bed lol. This bag is very pricey, but I do think that it was worth it. The material also feels very strong and well made, I am fully confident in its longevity and comfort over time. I am super happy with my moonpod!

Moon Pod is the worst chair you could ever have. Drew Gooden did a video on how they're just a complete scam. They delete all bad reviews on their website. They say 25% off, but that's always what the price is. Also, it's just stupid and way way way too expensive. Get a 40 dollar Walmart bean bag chair.
@jikae104 жыл бұрын
I just looked on their website. The single is now $299 with a 25% off coupon that they send you through text when you go to their main website. Also, they offer 4 products now, the regular one that was reviewed here, a smaller half size that you put behind you on a sofa/bed, a double size fit for 2 people, and a small ottoman.

I am looking for a product with attributes like leightweight, not requiring too much space, being able to put it away easily, but very comfortable while also be supporting, especially in lounging position. However, when I look at this video demonstration the lounging position seems not relaxing at all, not only are your shoulders not covered (as you explained this is due to the body size, it's only recommended for smaller and middle sized people) but there is nothing for the neck (which will also be true for anyone except maybe extremely small people). The way it is shaped you have your head bend heavily forward in order to look at your macbook in this lounging position demonstration. How can that be ergonomic and comfortable? There must be strain after even a short period of time. Did you really feel comfortable using that while using a notebook or tablet in lounging position for more than 5-10min? Am I missing something here? Maybe it just looks like that in the demonstration sample but the angle of the head seemed stretched forward quite a bit. Maybe you could elaborate on that, it seems like a very enticing product otherwise.
