you know, I'm a musician myself and this is a message to all of you who seem to be so overly critical of anything new! Music isn't meant to be locked down to peforming it one way, it is open to interpretation. I don't even know who this girl is who is singing this, but she did a hell of a job on it, whether she sounds like Michael Jackson or not. If every piece of music was meant to sound the same, there would be no reason to consider music an art form.

after listening to the other versions on youtube, i think this is the best non-mj vocal version of this song on here. Tuck has the best total non-mj version (its guitar only, no vocals) and of course, mj has the best version of this song in full.

Without a doubt, the best version of this song other than Micheal's! It's different but in a good way. Although it's a stripped down version of the song (IT WAS ACOUSTIC NIGHT PEOPLE), it still kept all the emotion!

@shortcutdanne I wouldnt say she ruined it. I think she did a nice job with it and it was definately presented well, but I do agree it's slower than I would do it. Actually I like the song more upbeat. It would have been cool if she turned it into a rock tune or maybe even funk with some nice slap bass haha. It's a pretty versatile song. The ending was pretty sucky but I thought she did pretty good overall.
