Those guys learn that real quick when they sign up with the club run tear up the paint and dent their new Rubicon see guy with a beat up XJ going over the same stuff having just as much fun, but spent 1/4 what they have in theirs. Plus the fact Jeeps drive trains just suck break all kinds of parts or have to spend $$$$$ on upgrades.

I do agree that your style of editing videos is highly entertaining. I do prefer this to the polished crap we get from a lot of channels. Not sure who said it first, but the fact is that the equipment you have, the software (and software skills) you have are nothing if you can't tell a story. And you sir can tell and edit a story very well.

My appreciation for your banana jeep and your skill is sincere. If you get a chance before my order ships out, I'd be honored with your autograph on my hat -- and Ed's too... I love how you buzz up to a recovery job in this wagon and people ask if you are actually going to be able to recover them in this Jeep and zip-presto they are out. I also love how many times you just get into their vehicles and drive it out and then turn it back over to them without even hooking it up to the Jeep. My dad and I started building Rail Buggies when I was a kid. I definitely understand your building techniques. I knew the Yellow Banana had to be beefed up in certain areas from owning and wheeling XJ's. Still the abuse it takes is incredible, when you think of it in mechanical terms. Those little 4.0 engines are tough. They don't take overheating well though (none do really). Great job on your explanation of the mods to the Banana. Thanks! Oh, and how do you give this a thumbs down? Keep on enjoying life with your family and friends!

Although my dad had a 1999 jeep Cherokee chase modle with the inline 6 4.0 and it over heated 4 times to wear it shit its self off and between 150000 and 200000 miles and still ran at 230000 miles when the frame rotted and broke so I would say they are pretty resilient although it did use one quart of oil every 200 miles or one quart per tank of fuel

Just started watching the channel and all I can say is I love what your doing!!! It would be interesting to see you possibly do a video on proper recovery points and whatnot due to the fact that everyone does it differently but other than that the Jeep is badass yes it may not be pretty but if it works it works!!! Love the channel Matt keep it up!!!

As a former professional fabricator and lifelong automotive everything enthusiast, I'm going to have many sleepless nights after watching this. I get the whole form follows function but you have taken it to a new level 😜 I am enjoying your videos though. You live in such a great area to do off-road recovery.

The best accessory: those two dogs. This video has eased some of the anxiety of working on my '95 XJ. I've started just making stuff to fix problems and it's working out. Thanks for the great video!

I run 8psi on my 96. Great for the weight of the rig. Going to have to build my rear frame rails for my factory reciever hitch. Great build thank you for the video

The hood louvers are my favorite. They add so much character while being functional. Thanks for adding the photos and the back story. Your editing and narration is top notch.

It don't matter how you do it, only matters that it works and it works well from what I see in your video's. Any one can go online and buy but you built yours and it's awesome. Great video thanks for sharing the details. God bless you and your family.

I've been watching a few of your videos lately and quite enjoyed the rawness of them. No need to appologise. You also make your job look simple which is remarkable and without too much fuss. This is mostly why I like them.
