Two things: garage beds should drop from ceiling as someone else mentioned. You need floor space. It's the point of a garage!!! Second: lack of pantry is huge oversite. I realize looking at your review, Matt, that it would be tough to configure the coach with one. Nonetheless, somehow the engineers/designers should have done something perhaps never done before (i.e., think outside the box). Do none of the RV designers actually cook more than boil water? Seriously, the kitchens often seem like an afterthought (let's cram it in here). I know that much of the time cooking happens outdoors, but when it happens inside, I've yet to have a reasonably-priced coach that has a chef's [compact] kitchen. I will say that I usually hate toy haulers, because it seems like the layouts and materials are junk. This coach, however, is the best toy hauler I've ever seen. I'd love to own it. Just need to find that steamer trunk full of Benjamins I left somewhere...

I'm surprised the garage doesn't have a motorized drop-down seat / bed system like most toy haulers do. I chuckled at the front bunk being lopsided.

Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are no pantry, and the seats out in the garage don’t make a bed. That’s all my dislikes. I love the toy hauler part and the patio. And the height and the bathroom. Thank you Matt and Andrea!

I really like the concept of this RV. Personally, we would need a king bed, pantry, and washer/dryer. I do not like the dinette at all, takes up too much room. The furniture does not look like it is very comfortable and we would probably switch it out for something else. Décor and paint job are good. Would want a motorized reel for power cord, surprised it was not included.

We love our 2023 Outlaw 38MB. I do wish we had a pantry but it just allows us to get more fresh food vs cans so we eat better. I wish the cabinet over the door was as deep as the cabinets over the couch because we can not even put a coffee maker and toaster in the over door cabinet. I would rather put the coffee maker over the door as we don't use it on the road and not have my wife lean over the door when moving to get snacks out from over the door cabinet. The new Outlaw Wildwest version is very poorly designed by moving the door to mid-coach and moving the couch behind the passenger seat not allowing it to fully turn around. We deleted the happi-jack bed in garage and also took the couches out because we would never use them.

Since I don’t have an ATV or a Harley that I can’t leave home without, I would definitely prefer a traditional motorhome with a far more comfortable and livable floorplan than two hard bench seat jackknife sofas in an uninsulated garage👍

We looked at the 2023 Outlaw toy haulers, but it was the model with the loft. Decided the kitchen was too small. Dislilkes: queen bed (deal breaker),, kitchen,, lack of counter space, no pantry, ,tight with slides interior is too dark. Likes: love the paint job, patio/balcony, garage, rebate (not mentioned, but maybe it is just on the 2023's?), ccc, sliding glass door from bedroom. Thanks for including the max weight for the garage.

why would they make the ccc of the garage 1,400 lbs and the door only 800 lbs?! might as well make them BOTH 800 lbs. i agree with Andrea, too dark in there! i think the tv is in the perfect spot and love the dinette! no oven? hmm....love the rv paint, awesome color scheme!!!

The 800 lbs. Is for deck use only. The ramp will carry much more when put down to ground. The cables are only rated for 800 lbs. Does not need them when used as ramp

A friend and I were looking at these. The garage ccc doesn’t allow you to carry much . If the ramp is 800 lbs max you can’t carry a fully dressed Harley. I guess a couple of dirt bikes or quad. Thanks for the videos.

You answered my question without me even asking! So you can’t load a Smart Car in the garage…. I’ve been looking at both class A and C rigs that are toy haulers and they tend to be expensive, even used, and some have low weight ratings. I think the best way to bring a car with you is hitch it directly to your rv (TOAD CAR) or get either a dolly or car hauler trailer….. Especially since this rig can tow up to 8 k behind it…. Just thinking out loud

WTH? Did anyone else notice the water lines under the bathroom sink? They killed that space and all they had to do was run it against the back wall👎🏼. It needs diesel. Only 1400# CCC in garage means only one Harley touring bike. I love the concept, and the interior is better than black and red. I would LOVE to own one, just not this one. If Outlaw and Newmar would have a baby….. winner💪🏼

Matt, I absolutely enjoyed this wonderful video. I watch your videos every day. But Matt, I am very worried about you. I have the same problem with heat. I have passed out many times because of the heat. My doctor told us that when I get this way, that I could die. I bought a neck fan from Amazon, around $25. I never go to my kitchen without it. It's a Thor and with that engine, loaded and towing you will be slow up a grade or even on flat. Better with the Newmar Canyon Star.

@@debbieyoung2291 Yes but the difference in quality across the board is day and night not only the coach itself but Cummins engine, Freightliner chassis and Allison transmission. And the manufacture support from all the manufactures is second to none plus the warranty. Trust me if you want a Class A Toy Hauler that will last for a long long time and be a pleasure to drive, Canyon Star is the way to go.

I agree completely. My wife and I looked at a new 38KB yesterday and the quality was dismal. They clearly have no quality control and $200k is still far too much because you need $100k set aside to fix all the problems. Many of the problems we saw would not have easy fixes either. After that we went to a Newmar dealer and looked at a Canyon Star (not toy hauler) and the quality could not have been any more different. We are now in the market for a Dutch Star.

Hey, I'm a veteran and I'm disabled but, I have different toys mobility scooter. Oxygen tanks and my concern is I don't have CDL license or Driver's license either. Now my license hai not ever been suspended or lost. I have to update from ID to Driving. I'm interested and I have a guarantee voucher from the military approved. I need some living capacity for me and pet kitten. My house is getting too big and my family wants me to hand it to them I agree. Hope you can help me out . Oh l also have an extra refrigerator and microwave ( 3' tall separate freezer).

Hey guys…. Big dislike, batteries need to be on a sliding tray…what a pain to replace them without the tray. Need reel for the power cord at this price point, “D” rings are the cheap version. We had two motorcycles fall when this type pulled apart…must be the cast iron heavy duty. Big fan of this concept (TH motorhome) but would never buy a Thor. If I put $40k of motorcycles in the back and tie them down with cheap anchors, what else is cheap where you can’t see (kitchen drawer slides, overhead bunk??). Needs recliners after a day on the toys. That couch is not comfortable for 2 people watching TV in the evenings. Just my opinion. Thanks Matt & Andrea! Safe travels!

I am not in the market for this but while it wouldn’t be a deal breaker Green is my least favorite color. The No pantry is not a big deal for me, since I don’t have a toy and I am not interested in one I could use the garage to store extra kitchen items. I do agree with Andrea I really dislike the interior. The color scheme is too dark, I dislike the dinette, I don’t like the couch, I would rather have a really comfy recliner or two. The bathroom was a nice size with the shower being bigger than some and having a prime pooping position. As far as the gator goes I would be unoriginal and calm him “Boots” because if he even thought about bothering my 4-pawed son I would have new alligator boots and so would be 4-pawed son.
