Multipass AOV Arnold Rendering in Maya 2018 for VFX Compositing - Pt 2 Compositing Passes in Nuke

Excellent explanation for the alpha re-integration from Beauty into the multipass compositing to avoid transparency issues when merging over a live action footage. What could be causing this problem resulting from the AOVs rendering elements in Arnold, or is this the way Arnold works when rendering in Maya and the Alpha should always be composited this way? In V-ray, do not remember ever having problems with multipass compositing and having to reintegrate Alpha before merging over a life action footage. Thanks.
