This story is derived from the book Sword of Tipu Sultan written by Bhagwan s gidwani
the chapter name is Maulvi from Muscat Oman
a maulvi from muscat oman came to south indian kingdom of mysore for donations towards construction of a mosque and a madarsa.
the story reflects the dailog between that maulvi and Tipu Sultan regarding faith and the matters of communal harmony among different religions.
from many stories we can come to know the legend of tipu sultan also known as the tiger of mysore about his love towards people of other faiths,
you need to have an open minded thinking to understand a king who ruled his subjects justly and dealt with his enemies with an iron fist,
tipu sultan is a king who during his 17 year rule not only worked towards development of his kingdom but also tried to save whole india from the conquest of the British empire.
he was the last hope of india as after his fall the whole country went towards slavery and famine,
once india was the richest economy of the world but was reduced to a poorest country.
Tipu Sultan was the last hope of india and he fought for it till his last breath,
thats why we still remember his sacrifices and his Courage.
