I think her problems stem from that episode where she had to wear the stupid hat when she had the job at the ice cream place. That had to be humiliating. Maureen McCormick had many first world problems.

As a young child, she watched her grandmother, who had syphilis, be institutionalized and grow increasingly more insane until her death. Likely that traumatized Maureen, and when she later learned her mom had also contracted the disease she was probably re-traumatized. Early childhood trauma, especially death of a loved one, can lead to the development of Borderline Personality Disorder, which is what I suspect Maureen has, based on her account of her behavior. Please educate yourself before making judgments about the lives of others.

Let me get this right ! She was a star on a hit series show! She has beauty and brains yet couldn’t manage it! Wow try living with a heroine addict who spends all his money on drugs and drives you to the ghetto every week to spend his pay on drugs! Or when he gets a bad dose he carries the tv out of the house! They having a mother who’s a jeckle and Hyde drunk with the eyes of satin when drunk! Imagine pushing your bed to the door as a child with a knife under your pillow for protection from your own parents at 11! Imagine listening to them plan your murder when drunk and drugged! Then when you go to school the next day have the teachers attack you and try to beat you up when you don’t have your homework! She could have never made it a day in my shoes as a kid!
