Has anybody else noticed when they sang the line, "our love will never die" Maurice is shaking his head no. This is a beautiful song and video. You can just tell by watching both of them there was still strong feelings for one another. Even though they both had moved on and made separate lives. There was still love between them. Just watching their expressions, I wish I knew what they were thinking. It's so sad we lost Maurice, but to lose him when it didn't have to happen even makes it sadder. What a huge loss!!

Barry said that there wasn't an instrument that Mo touched that he didn't master. He also had great vocal range and Barry said that Mo was a brilliant harmonist, he knew exactly where to lay his voice to make their perfect harmony. And he was so dang funny. He had a dream personality. He was the sweetest and most humble man. Greatly missed. His death was the end of Bee Gees.

He may not have stood out the way the other two did, but he definitely had talents in ways that the other two did not. He arranged some of the string sections on the Sentimental Journey album by Ringo Starr. Whether noteworthy or not, it was definitely something that the other two could not do.

Maurice and LuLu had to rehearse this song because they said they had not sang together in 27 years, therefore, I believe the looks were all staged for the audience. They were performers and knew the audience would go crazy, which they did.

@@elainesheffield2054 Maurice lived in the US while Lulu lives in the UK so it's unlikely they would meet up regularly. There are photographs of her with Maurice and Yvonne and she did attend his funeral. There was I believe genuine affection between them.

@@patriciabyrne5089 Lulu states in her book that she chose not to attend the funeral. She paid her respects privately, although she makes it clear that Yvonne left the decision to her. I think Mo was lucky enough to have two great loves in his life.

Yes, she felt that she would just attract press if she went and that the focus should be on the family. She was in California when she got the news, but the press was swarming her family in the UK hoping for a statement. I think she made the right choice. She had a long phone conversation with Yvonne before she went back home where they shared memories of Mo. Yvonne even told her thar she was happy that they had done this duet and were on good terms before he passed.

Even after MANY years had passed them by, when she called Maurice to ask if he'd do her show, he didn't hesitate an instant. You can see it in their eyes, and hear it in their voices, the love they once shared was STILL there. When he sadly passed, way too soon, she stated that she had lost the one true love of her life. I'm so glad they got to share this one last moment. I don't know why, but I still cry every time I watch this, knowing the love they still shared. RIP Maurice. You are missed by so many. But your music will live on for eternity. And Lulu, we can feel your love for him in this song. Please, keep singing for us all.
