We still have a lot of these kind of scholars in west Africa. Not only do they have the knowledge about the Deen, but when you look at how much time they spend worshipping Allah, 😭....This is why muslims that intensively worship Allah until their bones feels the Noor will never choose to live in the cities. They all love to live in remote villages. It saddens me a lot when I look at the life style of Muslim cities nowadays. Not only are different in religion but how do we preserve our Noor as worshiper. Every body knows what light (Noor) means, but you to be a worshiper to know how it feels like. You feel authentically connected hearing Azan alone.

In a university of California at Berkeley advanced level journalism class, students who have an average IQ of 130-140, the students are taught that the average American reads and writes at a sixth grade level, so one should not write at the highest level of literary showmanship possible. Rather, to communicate effectively, one should dumb down the vocabulary to the level of the prospective "target audience" of semiliterate non university educated readers with an IQ of exactly 100

What is the purpose of mentioning the “light skinned” Mauritanians as opposed to the Africans of a darker complexion. Then to go on and say “that’s why they have this tradition of learning.” Full of prejudice. The women of the people of lighter complexion have “too much self dignity” but the women of Africa who are of a darker complexion have what, no or little self dignity? Even some of the most learned suffer from racial bias and colorism.

I seek protection in Allah from the Shaytani for saying 9 truths and 1 lie. I don't like the description they made to describe women who participate in polygamy from sub saharan Africa, as if they have no to little dignity, and that the Berber Arab women have more dignity, so they don't tolerate polygamy. Does the Quran not state that women are to abide in plural marriage as a command from Allah if it's their husbands choice or qadr? Was not Ishmael (AS), the son of Hajara (RA) and the mother of Arabs not the product of plural marriage? On the contrary, the Muslim women that don't tolerate it appear to be more stubborn and hypocritical towards thw Quran, and the ones that do follow that commandment (even with all its difficulty) are more submissive to the teachings/revelations of Allah and the Quran. The only way I can accept such remark is if plural marriage isn't in the Quran, or not from Allah, but from the mind of a covetous Arab that added those words to the book of Allah.

I think it's accurately explained : most of the time, in a cultural context, when there is few polygamy it's because of a sense (subjective) of self-dignity inside women but directed to themselves and not necessarily to others who practice polygamy.

With all due respect to the Deoband tradition... I do not understand why they differentiate themselves from the Barelvi tradition. If they agree with the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah, the Barelvi's, the Ash'aris and the Mauritanian scholars in issues of Aqaid why do they not leave behind the name of "deoband"? Deoband has just been in controversy after controversy with some very distasteful statements made by their Ulama. You should be either Wahhabi or Ahlus Sunnah... not an inbetween like Deoband. It annoys me knowing that Deoband have had problems with the celebration Mawlid but then want to be Sufi's and visit the Mauritanian scholars. Mauritanian scholars have the same Aqaid as the Barelvi's. Unite for the sake of Allah. P.S I am not Barelvi nor Deobandi.

Yet after gaining knowledge he comes and says how dark they are and how the North are light. Truly , knowledge is a test for others. And a blessing for others.
