i lived in one of the poorest countries in the world which is mauritania and i swear to god,if you go there,those people have permanent smiles etched on their faces.THeir like the poorest people in the world and yet the joy i saw in them.I knew a man we took a trip which was 6 hours drive and he recited the quran the whole way and that was just his habit and the whole time he was reciting he had a smile on his face and he was happy,syaykh hamza yusuf

The southern part of Muritania being the Nothern part of Senegal called Fouta, they have one of the best unrecognised Scools and universities for Quranic studies and Sharia Studies... KINDLY MAKE A RESEARCH THERE ALSO, I BELIEVE IT HAS A RELATION TO MURITANIAN ISLAMIC STUDIES.

I have a lot of brothers and cousins that studied from that region so I have the believe that it has contributed a lot of knowledge to most of the Gambians that sent their kids to study there.

Allahumma Ameen. 🤲🏼 Thank you for this great short documentary about why the Mauritanian shanquitis are leaders in Islamic scholarship. I've always wondered. Sheikh daddoo alshanquiti is one of my favorite scholars of this era. He's like an Islamic super computer encyclopedia Masha'Allah, may Allah protect him and extend his life in good health, and help him benefit the Muslim world. 🤲🏼

Great video. Content is 👌🏾. If I may just offer some viewer experience feedback for the video editing team. The click sounds between changes is a little distracting. I have a hypothesis that it might might make for a more pleasing viewing experience without it. Maybe you can take a look at an edit of this same video without it and see if it does feel better. 1 year back i saw a video where small kids writing on a stone at that time i understood that this area is a sea of. Watch the wudhu of a Mauritanian sheikh making wudhu. I do believe it is closest to the Sunnah. Ajeeb. He is maliki but I still think it is, even though I was being taught under the hanifi fiqh.
