Dear Shelina, I am from a Mauritian background and you cut the cucumber well. We use to shred the outer core finely, add vegetable oil, vinegar, chillies, salt and pepper as the base in the bowl and then add the shredded cucumber and red onions in the bowl and mix it up et voilà! Yum! We are a diverse, the country is diverse and there are many recipes. I miss Mauritius a lot and my family living there! Did you do a blog on patisson?
