A few years ago I smashed my finger with a cnc punch tool. The way the tool caught my finger, it not only crushed the bone but almost cut my finger off from the first knuckle down. They had to sew everything back together and the bone is a little flatter now than it was but I got most of the feeling back in my finger tip. So many nerve endings in the tips of our fingers, I know his pain. Wishing him a full recovery!

Oh yikes! That sounds absolutely terrible. We are so glad he missed the bone when it happened. But yeah, like you said, lots of nerve endings in a finger tip! Shortly after this happened, his sister got her finger shut in the door of the rv and Maverick started screaming and we all thought it was him! But he is just so traumatized he was screaming on behalf of her! Poor guy. Thanks for the well wishes. His finger looks much better!

Hello. I’m sorry that he lost his fingers. Without the fingers, we can’t play the pianos or type the words on our computers or feel the dog’s fur. We have fingers to feel the fur, play piano and type on the computers

Wow, I remember when I was at my grandmas house and I was playing with my hot wheel toy and it fell under the Oven and there was three blades under the oven and I stick my hand under the oven to get my hot wheels toy, but it was like way back and back up the oven so I couldn’t get it and I stick my hand through it and then I felt like some sharp things going on my hand, pulled my hand down and I screamed in pain my finger those three blades sliced my finger open and I almost lost my finger. You could literally see my bone luckily my finger still attached, but I could’ve lost my finger too and the blades like sliced my entire finger open. See my bone. I still have my finger. but my hot wheel toy is still under there.😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

I had a lot of finger injuries froms cars to old pull up garage ok fair warning I got 2 of my fingers stuck in my garage to get something and I left up on the sides by the metal part luckily my finger didn’t come off I told my sister to get mom and she left me there crying in pain and 15 mins later she gets mom and ask my neighbour to help me get my finger out my fingers are still Bendy from that and it not normal that then I was 8 now I am 19 😂

Wow that sounds so traumatic! The Dr. that spent 3 hours putting his finger back together had a similar story at 8-years-old as well. And Maverick is 8. Sounds like a tough year of lessons for kids 😩

I just had an incident with my foot and spokes of a bike. My dad and mom had to go to the bathroom when we were at the beach. I didn’t want to leave them so I went with them. My mom put me on the back of my dad’s bike. We made it 2 blocks and 2 blocks away from the house. Then suddenly my foot got in the spokes it was almost twisted, my dad dropped the bike which saved me from losing the top of my toe nail. I was in pain. We got to the beach house. my dad went to the bathroom we left them my mom called my mom-mom and pop-pop to go to the hospital with my brother. My parents were so worried about me that my dad ran a red light. We got the hospital and I was crying for my brother. We went to a bed the doctor cleaned it with water. I had missing skin and a HUGE wound in my ankle. I didn’t have a bump on my ankle anymore. We got X-rays I only had a sprained ankle. AND IT ALL HAPPENED ON 4TH OF JULY😭. We had a trip to universal but I had a knee scooter to rest my foot. But spirit airlines broke it. I wasn’t able to walk for like let’s say 4 weeks. The bump on my foot is now back and the wound is super small. Nobody will probably read this but happy to share the story😃

Oh my! His finger was DANGLING?? It pains me to even picture that! I remember being about 6 years old and having fun at Chuck E Cheese until I had to use the restroom. Bad mistake. Being the little six year old that I was, when my mom and I were exiting, I was sliding my hands on the frame of the doorway until the door closed and smashed two of my fingers right on the spot. My mom pushed me back into the restroom with two extremely bloody, purple fingers and cracked nails.. rushed me to the ER and turns out, the tips of those two fingers were broken, and I had to learn how to write with my left hand until I was out of that splint. What a crazy six years of age!!

One thing we realized after the accident was that Maverick was so paranoid about door shutting, things spinning, and his siblings resting their hand on anything. I wonder if you went through the same thing? Seeing the spinning wheel of a bike made him “queezy”. He obviously has a little PTSD. Poor guy.

Once i was playing football and i got slide tackled and i fell on my arm and it snapped in half it turned out i broke 2 bones in my arm and i had to have 2 surgery's on it and it took 7 months to heal

My peepa R.I.P❤ got his finger cut off by a car door, and whenever he met new people he would put it up to his nose and they didn’t know about his finger so it looked like his finger was all the way up his nose.😂 R.I.P peepa 🕊️🕊️🕊️

The doctor that spent 3 hours stitching it up said she had just given a 28-year-old man stitches in his middle finger the day before and he screamed so loud the entire ER floor could hear it. 🤣
