@@maverickwatchreviews instead of talking for nothing, can't just try and set every single fonction, one by one ? we still don't know if the TIMER can be set by the SECOND. and not just by the minute like 80% of watches. very useful for HIIT, 45 second timer for instance, or 30sec or 1min30sec TIMER

About the stated "10 year battery", I can assure: I have a Casio W-756 that I bought 13 years ago and NEVER need to replace the battery, so when Casio says its watch have a 10 years battery, trust them.

The timer has also a auto repait function ,press the light button in the timer setting mode to turn it on or off (a rpt) appears on the display when it's on,and if you press and hold the mode button it doens't matter what mode of setting you are it goes always back to the home time display

I agree 100 % with your review, after buying and returning " tons of G Shoks "and other models I finaly found my best watch ever all I needed is big numbers because as you age you were glasses and good battery life not to mention price of this legendary brand Casio for $ 20 bucks with all the features that I need my ultimate watch quest is over. Got this one and the negative display version, and they are absolutely a lot of watch for a bargain price! Love the large numbers on the face and how clear the screen is at any angle. I highly recommend these watches to anyone that is looking for a watch with G Shock features without the high price .

Have this watch Khaki. About 2 years old. Agree with you. Excellent watch. I bought it due to aging eyes as the numbers are easy to see. Also where while sleeping so I can hit that light button during the night wake up. You can't beat it.

I have one in khaki. The best value for money ever! I had to buy cheap watch that i can use at work. AE1500WH is easy to read and it feels good on your wrist. It's light. There are good amount of functions. Nothing special, but all you need. In Finland AE1500WH is around 40€.

Best value for money that's possible and obviously so accurate with that module compared to a cheap analogue watch, I have some expensive watches, never worn any of them once after I bought this. I 100% agree about the strap, most comfortable ever I have ever had including other resin ones.

My $20 Casio watch has been with me for 16 years. I have changed the battery once, the strap maybe 5 times. I wear it everyday. It's a super watch. I am happy with it. What else can I ask for.

Been wearing this watch for a week now. I got the negative display one. Love it very much. Very crisp and clear unlike most negative display models out there. My friends thought it was a new G-Shock. Doesn't even look that bulky once you're wearing it (my wrist is pretty standard size). The only con to me is the LED light. Would be cooler if it comes with luminescent backlight, fitting the futuristic theme.

I have low vision and I think this might work well for me.. or maybe the negative display. I love watches but it's hard to find ones that I can actually use. My daily is an Oris Big Crown which I found was one of the easiest fo rme to read but it's way too nice to wear when I'm working out or doing yard work.. Thanks!

I just bought this watch thanks to your video. Love it. Fits great and feels really good. Love the large display. ONe thing I noticed, though is that the LED's don't seem as bright in your video. Granted, I bought it off the shelf from Walmart so no telling how long it's been sitting there. Should I try changing the battery? Everything else works great. The only thing I noticed is that the model number is AE-1500WH-1AKC and not the 1AV like on your video and website. I have not been able to track down that model number online.

Thanks for the view. Very well presented as always. I was looking for a cheap watch to work in with a big display, stop watch, alarm and timer etc, so I can avoid using the better watches I have. This ticks all the boxes being 100m water-resistant. But I really dislike the 10 second segments on the right hand side. Pointless and distracting - and they can't be switched off. A total deal breaker for me, which is a shame as I definitely would have bought the watch. I had to look for an alternative and I got a great looking watch very similar to this one. A little more money but it has alarm (with good bleep!) dual time zone, chrono, countdown and is 100m water-resistant. I was a little sceptical when I ordered it, but I thought I'd give it a chance. I'm very surprised at how good the Tekmagic W18-W by Banglin, is. I swim regularly and it's fine in the pool. Thanks again for the review.

It seems huge, but I have ordered one due to the large display (and me getting older) and hope it still fits my wrist. AE-1200, W-217, now this... Casio are releasing some great models recently. As for the battery and overall watch life expectancy - my F-91W from 1992 is still working and has it's 3-rd battery (it was rated 7 years, and actually runs about 10 with a battery), so I don't have hesitation that the 10 years promised here will maybe 12-15 in reality.

The battery does last 10 years in the AE-1000W. Changed it once in 20 years. Casio make the best watches. Shame the world time didn't have the city codes.

I was strolling through Walmart today and this watch caught my eye. I have owned more than a dozen g shocks over the years and absolutely love them. But my old eyes have made it difficult to see the time and particularly the day date. The display on this watch is awesome! The price is even better! If doesn't last for a long time, who cares? It is extremely comfortable and lightweight. Adjustments are simple. If you like g shocks but are having trouble seeing the displays do yourself a favor and give this watch a try. The tan colored one is the model I grabbed for $20 plus tax. Look forward to giving it a thorough daily testing. Awesome review mate!

I have a different Casio watch - model DBC 32 i think thats around the same price, and i can confirm the battery life is still going after i got it around 2013 i believe or 2012 (Edit: The battery has NOT been changed once from when i purchased it). The strap broke a month ago but i hadnt worn it these past 3 4 years since i got older and the strap was brittle from not being worn and sitting like that for a long time. Casios are definitely great quality watches especially for their prices.

I’d like to see a slightly more expensive model with a mineral crystal. I love that display but I worry the plastic screen would get scratched quickly when working on the job. A few more dollars to enhance durability and it would be a must buy for me hands down.

I get the flexible screen protectors for smartphones and cut a piece the size of the crystal and place it on all my casinos that are not gshocks. Squeegee the bubbles out and it is just as clear as glass. I have done this for years and the budget Casio watches I love get ZERO scratches!
