@Lt1846 жыл бұрын
As for the zoom it’s great, jack of all trades that allows a more versatile end result without the level of expertise in framing/ flying and the time of post production. This was a version IMHO that was marketed at the first time UAS consumer on the fence due to the complexity involved up till now. Yes the bar is set to a new height with the M2P and it’s 1” sensor make in conjunction with a top notch lens company and will hands down out shine the M2Z in low light application and in any shot that is evaluated by a professional photographer and or film editor. Honestly don’t think you can go wrong with either, I’m into day 3 of flight with my M2Z and I’m very happy.

the mavic 2 pro doesnt have dolly zoom does it? ... 2nd question, I have already a Mavic 2 Pro. Do you think its worth having both the M2 Zoom and Pro? I mean i guess it depends on what you want to film.. I think it would be good to get very close to wild-life without scaring or disturbing them
@ContinueCrushingTech5 жыл бұрын
No dolly zoom on the pro. As to whether you need both, that's a tough question. At least you have an idea of how much zoom you'll be able to zoom now! How much will it help you, who knows. You could always try digitally zooming in while editing to see if you're happy with the "zoom" and you'll know if it's worth it for you to have both.
@PatrickGuerrisi5 жыл бұрын
@@ContinueCrushingTech I might not get it it's a lot of money for just zoom. When you zoom in digitally you loose quality but. Thanks for your great video. I'm about to upload a years worth of my favorite shots with my mavic 2 . Check it out soon :)

Think I'm going to go for the zoom. But I seen a night time review of both drones and the zoom was really bad quality at night compared to the Pro. I really hope DJI does a package where you buy the one drone and you can buy both cameras and just swapped them about when you need each. It's apparently an easy swap to change from zoom camera to pro the DJI go 4 app automatically knows which camera is in use.

Which night videos did you watch? The ones I have seen, both did not adjust brightness and made the Zoom look worse then it really could be.
@languedepute35646 жыл бұрын
in day light, the ass el bad is ...worse than the zoom... at night? the comparison is biaised, because DJI purposely limited the zoom at 1600 ISO, so we can t know if it could compete with the overated brand camera that goes up to 3200 ISO which in APN world is really very low, as bad as first price camera.
@StanCook6 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I think maybe the Zoom is the one to get. I wonder how many people would have jumped on the Zoom had it been the more expensive drone. I think you misspoke at the beginning but the Mavic Pro, the old one, does have a 2X Zoom though it is a step zoom and not a smooth zoom. I use it ofter. I have run into many that don't know that who have owned the Mavic Pro for a long time. You do it with the little joystick. Good work as always.

Well, zoom wise the MP2 is just the second drone on the market, first was Parrot's Anafi, at half the price. The fact that it uses just digital zoom is normally a disadvantage, but for it has a 21 MP sensor rather than just a 12 MP let's do it lossless while keeping the lens a simple fixfocus, thus reducing the lens distortion. When you take that into account, you just have to wonder, why there is no zoom function on the MP2 Pro, obviously just to rip out the money of the customers wanting both and therefore buying both MP2...🙄 Regardless of which drone one uses, your video clearly shows, why you not really can zoom in "with the right stick", real zooming is about changing the focal length and therefore a different composition, not only the magnification of the object. Proof of this is the dolly zoom shot.😊

Great review! I believe your getting a lotta lag because bloody apple is slowing your phone down on every update.Yep they havent stopped a bit being caught out last yr. When your on wifi or bluetooth your think its the connection but no its apple making you think that. I see it on my mates iphone X when he tries to show me things. When he first bought the phone everything was lightening fast. Now after a year everything he has lag of everything.
@Lt1846 жыл бұрын
Kurt Langer I won’t say your wrong about apple pulling that crap BECAUSE they do. But your data carrier does this too. Depending on the plan, some plans of unlimited data you have to reach a monthly amount 12g or 24g at which point they will slow your speeds during a high traffic time. Other plans your carrier can slow you down at their discretion at any time no reason given. So couple that with the bs from Apple and latency thru the roof.
@GavinMufclee6 жыл бұрын
Data companies can't be slowing the processing down on iPhones only apple can do that and they do it. That's why I got rid of using apple shocking.
@Endr296 жыл бұрын
That is funny because benchmark scores are still the same after 1year. Besides, there hasn’t been a major update for the iOS since iOS11 so maybe something else is going on on your mates phone.
@Kurtations6 жыл бұрын
Na na na na na its everyones iphone. I got lots of mates with iphones from every year. Ive had many iphones. His is just the most modern latest casualty. Its not the major updates its the little updates they do it on. They do it slowly bit by bit so you think its just your phone getting old. But we were confirmed last year they admitted they do it. And I always knew it as it was after every minor update it felt slower. It takes me sometimes 5 seconds or more on my 6s to get the camera on. Everything is past its moment then. Im never buying an apple iphone again. They did it on their ipads as well. We all have an ipad 2 that is just now useless as they slowed it down so much that we never will buy an ipad again. Thank christ they didnt do it on our mac computers but then no one would ever buy a computer off them again.
@Endr296 жыл бұрын
Kurt Langer they did that to make their devices have a better battery life. Since a year or so you have the option to go for battery life or performance. Btw, the iPad 2 you are talking about is from March 2011. That is 7,5 years old. What do you expect? I have never seen a tablet lasting this long. Also, iOS12 will also run on the iPhone 5S, with increased performance. This device is 5 years old. Try that on any other device made by a competitor. You can make your choices but don’t tell me that Apple is willingly slowing down their devices. However, it wouldn’t make sense to build new updates without new features that require more processing speed from a phone. The older the phone, the slower the speed right?! And if you don’t like updating, why did you click the “Install new update” button?

The scientific examination of tan lines at the beach will ensure that this 2-power zoom capability is only taste of things to come. In less than two calendar years from today, June 2nd 2020, drones with 10-power optical zoom will be commonplace, and that is when I will buy this soon-to-be archaic 2-power zoom Mavic 2 Zoom model, greatly discounted due to fierce competition from Chinese grey market drone marketers who shall remain nameless to protect the innocent.

Big mistake is buying a dji M2P drone that comes with a STUPID and never intelligent battery. These batteries gets pregnant after 9 months of purchase (Battery swells) causing the battery to be ejected from the drone during flight, ending in a crash. dji are so devilish by indicating in their policy that batteries are covered for 6 months only, because they know that at 9 month these batteries are giving birth. And the biggest mistake I did was buying the fly more kit and an additional battery to make it 4 batteries in total. All of the batteries now are swelled up. Mind you that I take good care of my stuff, for the batteries, I always discharge them to 40% if I'm not planing to use for more than 10 days, fully charge and discharge on a regular bases and always stored in a cool place between 15 to 25 degrees in a secure sealed hard case by Nanuk. Called dji for replacement, they rejected my request although I have bought the care refresh and the Select member which was never used once…!
