The only way to award a foul is to interpret pj with 2 seconds left jumping in the air in a shooting motion was going to do something other than shoot. Then the ref said non shooting foul and freethrows for a non shooting foul. This should be 2 freethrows but for some reason he shot 3. It can't be 3 free throws cause then that means they interpreted PJ was going to shoot which makes the play not a foul at all cause you can hit ball then some arm on a block

Only a clean block if Shai had lodged the ball loose then hit his arm, but since the ball wasn't knocked out of PJ hands and he was shooting by the time shai was on his arm that's a foul.

As a thunder fan, I really can’t complain with the officiating, we got a lot of calls that we probably shouldn’t have, but I have to say we did get fucked at the end, that was clearly a block, because he touched the ball first before he touched the arm, if that call goes our way, it’s our ball up to with 2 1/2 seconds to go, giving us a very high likelihood of winning. Still a great game. Congratulations, Mavericks. I’m just happy to see next season and hopefully we romp with more experience.

I do not understand the rationale that the refs used for those two reviews. On the first OKC challenge, it looked like a clear charge but the refs changed the call and said it was a blocking foul. And then on the corner 3 attempt that looked like a clean block, they denied the challenge and upheld the foul call. I guess the two plays sort of cancel each other out.
