It's so bad. Dropped into illuminate super helldive, helped wipe 3 tripods and a mass of zombies out. Extracting, and I get hit with a ricochet right to the side of the head from a stray shot that hit a wall. From the last diver that dove backwards into the pelican. Glad I wasn't the one picking up samples

What I like most about Helldivers is that you can indeed play entirely without HUD. There's feedback for everything and if you remember the Stratagems you can just type them in blind.

Would be incredibly cool, but I don't know how well that would work with the design structure of their game. The match isn't run on a server that you connect to, one of the players directly hosts the game and others connect to them. But idk I'm not a tech guy.

@@BubingusCinemaHub It kept getting me killed, so what I did is turn the auto-climb OFF, set climb to HOLD spacebar, and reassigned Activate Jump Pack to Hold Alt. This way, I only climb on things when I mean to and can still trigger my jump pack when I need it.

The only things that’s missing is something that makes it seem like the enemies are trying to get into the Pelican or to attack it or something, right now they just queue up behind and beside it and it looks kinda funny to see voteless go from bloodthirsty to confused because you took one step on the plane.

That happened to me the other day. I was first in the pelican with a sliver of health and a crap-ton of samples. Two others got on in short order, but this one guy just kept standing around doing fuck all and somehow not dying. When he finally starts to move, I get killed by a melee overseer that was on the wrong side of the shuttle.

You can disable "auto climb" in the gameplay settings for options, that way you won't hop on top of the supply pod when you're sprinting at it. Great video! The widescreen is killer 👍

Eagle strafing run has been a godsend for me, ive been using it to deal with the squids whenever i start to get overrun. Its also pretty neat at knocking out tripod and lander sheilds. Haven't had this much fun on Helldivers for awhile, also loving the buggy
