Only recently did you have them. We have had post codes here in the UK for decades. Only Dublin city had a sort of code. Like RTE is in Dublin 4 in posh Donnybrook.

⁠@@johnking5174 we still have them though. Every residential or business address in Ireland has its own eircode for almost a decade now. Dublin also has postal sectors, e.g. Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 4 etc, but we have Eircodes as well.
