This move is so iconic. It's villains are so great, the principal is irredeemably evil, and it's always nice to have a one-sided easy to hate villain getting slammed. The bullies and ice cream man are stereotypical and comically evil at first but they get just enough backstory to be humanized, so that Max does start to feel a little villainous, even if they do deserve what they get. Megan and Robe fill their roles so perfectly, it's like, everyone is simple but it allows the film to be so easy to watch, to convey what it wants to. This isn't a movie I watched often as a kid, but I remember it so clearly.

KZbin deleted all the comments on this video, thanks for watching anyway, hope the old comments come back when they fix this

KZbin has been experiencing some difficulties ever since they’ve been integrating trendy features (Shorts and Live-streaming bitrates and such) it’s terrible.

I forgot this movie existed until your video but I loved your recap of it and want to go rewatch it myself just for how entertaining you made it sound, let alone seeing Micky Milkovich as a red-head with black nail polish.

It’s on Disney+. I know because I have rewatched this movie about a dozen times already since Disney+ 1st launched in the US.

yeah, it's not going to take home any oscars but it's still a childhood classic

This movie watches like it was written by middle-schoolers and I’m here for it. It’s still one of my favorites from my childhood.

I remember the commercials for this movie, they are legit stuck in my head. I thought I was the only one who still knew about it.

SWIRLY EXPERIENCE Growing up, my best friend and I heard about swirlies on tv and movies so we wanted to get ahead of the bullying and do it ourselves. I gave her a swirly because she asked me to and then I didn’t get one back. My mom was FURIOUS that she had to tell my best friend’s mom what I did 😅

Other than the title I forgot everything about this movie despite seeing it in cinema, I'm now also realising why Mickey Milkovich from Shameless seemed so familiar

Max Keeble's big move to me was a great movie. It had humor, positive messages, and its content was actually pretty good for its time. I'd recommend it for ages 8 plus.

I went to a summer camp/day care for 5+ years as a kid. We would watch a movie a couple times a week. There were only about 5 total. I only remember 2 because we watched thwm at least twice a week. Jimmy Neutron and Max Keeble. You mentioned in your recent video you did a video on this and I came right over. I LOVE this movie. So many scenes are burnt into my memory from this movie and it is awesome to see someone else appretiate this obscure gem!

Oh this was a movie I LOVED as a kid! Any time it was on I watched it. It was like Home Alone meets Big Fat Liar, it was kids vs adults, the bullied vs the bullies, and living out the childish fantasy of doing whatever the hell you wanted and getting away with it. This movie may not be Oscar worthy, but it's fun and worthy to be watched by any kid.

I always thought Max Keeble was part of some bigger franchise. Also, the MacGoogles thing was hilarious.
