What if you kill the asylum demon then quit out right as you kill him, this makes the game think the boss is dead when he actually isnt, that means you kill him more than once, doing this, you get 3000 souls every time, you should choose sorcerer or pyromancer though to make the glitch work

@@hex_gekko29568 what closest enemies? there's the two (maybe three? I forget) enemies back down from the ladder but that would probably be a worse way to gain money. There's the one on the stairs but doing a run for only 20 souls wouldn't be very efficient, at that point might as well run to the three hollows just an alley ahead and once you kill them, why not just take an extra 10 seconds and kill the sword guy who gives you as many souls as all 4 previous enemies combined.

Feno, I can't find the comment that you replied to me just now, so I'm just gonna write a new comment. Yes, indeed, 18.29 / 0.33 is 55.42, but it's my fault as I wasn't explaining it right. This is not an accurate answer because when you do this, you leave 0.01 out because 0.33 + 0.33 + 0.33 = 0.99. This gives you a close answer in little numbers, although not an accurate one, and you can see this when reaching high results like the big difference between 54.87 and 55.42. What you should have done is this: 18.29 / 0.3333333333333333 to get a more accurate result. Or you know, just multiply by 3 which gives you the most accurate result. Just a nitpick, loved the video Feno! :)

“Positive Praise” is my new favorite redundant alliteration; wouldn’t want anyone to confuse it with negative praise. Also, if you consider the 7th playthrough to be NG+6, then you’re using a 0 index and thus must consider either the second playthrough as NG+1, or you consider it NG+ and then the third playthrough is NG+2 (which I don’t hate, but it’s still confusing - not everyone will properly read it correctly as “the second new game plus”). It doesn’t surprise me that people like to jump to NG+3 after NG+; they’re putting the playthrough integer directly into it; no mental math required. The simplest way would be to ditch the distinction between NG and NG+, and just call it NG, then 2nd Playthrough, then 3rd Playthrough, etc.

In the original video when I reached the cap of 999,999,999 I died near the exit to leave a bloodstain. Then you collect the rest of the souls, go to Firelink, level up, come back to the Asylum, collect the bloodstain, go back to Firelink, and finish leveling.

..if you play for a third of the day and the original estimate was the entire day, isn't the inverse percentage upscale unnecessary? I mean you play one third as much per day as was originally assumed, so.. you can literally just triple the time it takes to finish. That is because playing more or less directly correlates to time until you get it done - play half as much, need twice as long, play one third, need 3x the original time. Sorry, I just thought the calculation was odd, I know this is an old video by now. I do appreciate the effort and thought experiment!
