As most people I played this as as kid lol had no business playing it. Max Payne 1 intro stuck with me for life, that eerie phone call and baby screaming during the home invasion was tense. Even replaying it today I have that eerie feeling

I rlly rlly hope when they remaster these games they have Timothy Gibbs as Max’s actor. With the exact same dialogue. Man what a fucking piece of art that would be. To hear Gibbs say “It was almost morning waking up from the American Dream… Now like all my loves she is mine forever. She has brought me here to this moment of clarity. Where time slows down and I choose to look back…to see myself. And in that act of seeing…I am reborn…” “I had a dream of my wife. She was dead. But it was alright.” Dont get me wrong mcaffrey is max payne. He delivers every line with absolute perfection but i reckon Gibbs could do it nearly just as well.

You should give them a shot, they are amazing. There's a few things you have to do to get sound to work on max Payne 1 for modern PCs but otherwise they still work just fine.
