And a season of F1 lasts 21 races not 6. When you do the math Norris had the fastest car for most races and that 'buffer' should have evaporated like snow in the sun by mid season. Max doesn't need the fastest car or teamorders (like Norris does) to win races or maximize results. And you are talking about 'justifying' him? After Brazil he had extended the lead to 62 points.
