Anything can happen but from my perspective the mclaren driver on track of a WDC is Piastri. My perception of Lando is that he is too emotional, and that affects his driving. Oscar seems more in control, and I believe he'll be a contender for next year's championship.

Lando came short against Max, by some margin. But we shouldn't forget that Lando would've become world champion if RBR had dropped off just a little further. If McLaren is more dominant next year, Max could get 110% out of the car while Lando could win the championship reaching 95%. Lando is capable to win a championship, but just not against Max in a similar of slightly worse car. And to be honest, I don't think he should be ashamed of that when you look at the level Max is at. I think if Rosberg could do it under the right circumstances, so can Lando.

Next year will be interesting . Red Bull now have some competition , and their cars will be lacking Neweys design skills. Fifth place for the world champion, it’s not a great way to seal your fourth title, it’s enough but shows how poor the car is, now. Look at Perez…. If Norris gets his act together he could challenge, but he doesn’t have the mental strength of Max. I don’t support any teams, i just watch. Before anyone starts with the insults.😮
