Should've mentioned the minimum final stat filter. With it you can also determine a minimum amount for a certain stat. If you want to make sure your Xiangling is doing the maximum amount of damage while still maintaning 180 ER for example, you can set that up.

This sensationalist, overexaggerated "OMG THIS IS THE BEST TEAM BY FAR, BEST TEAM EVER, HIDDEN SECRET INSANE COMP" bullshit is exactly what people were doing when the INSANELY OVERPOWERED shinra tensei was doing the rounds. At best, sukokomon is very strong but a lot more annoying and hard to play in actual content since a) you have a very specific ability flowchart for the entire duration of a rotation, and b) you have to learn how to swirl guoba with no pyro on the enemy, which is again annoying AF. If you compare having to put up with all that shit to just pressing Q on everyone in a national team or Morgana and autoattacking with your Ganyu/Childe/Raiden/Sucrose for a bit, 90% of the community would easily choose the latter. Because you don't even actually gain anything by playing sukokomon if you can already clear everything with the popular meta teams, which you definitely can. Also why the fuck would TCers not want people to find out if some character is strong, like seriously what would they gain by it, LOL If anything, if it really is that amazing to play, they'd gain a fuckton of views, viewers and money by showcasing it. I did this several months ago and spent hours saving every artifact. In the end it provided me with a few artifact re-arrangements, but wasn't worth the time. With the scanner it may be worthwhile. It would be nice if Mihoyo provided artifact optimizations in game. If they could at least provide an API to read basic stats from our characters, artifacts, and weapons it would be a huge help!

I use the Genshin Scanner V0.9, it also scans weapon box and characters including their talents and cons. It saves a lot of time. But the scanning time will be slower because of course it scans everything.

Very low. The program behaves similarly to a human, so there's no easy way to tell that it isn't just you flicking through all your artifacts. And since it's not automating actual gameplay (ie. botting), Mihoyo has no reason to spend their time trying to detect it. So while it's *technically* against ToS - and they might feel obliged to act on it if you hand them evidence of its use on a silver platter, eg. by discussing the tool in-game - I assume Mihoyo will take the usual "just don't talk about it where we can see you and we'll pretend we don't know you're doing it" route.

I don't know, it said I should put a bloodstain ATK circlet on my Raiden, att sand, att goblet, 2 gladiators, 2 shimenawa 30% crit rate...I DON'T KNOW If I should trust it. EDIT: I didn't select burst dmg, after that, it suggest the exact same build I was already using. So I wasted time, but I gained self-esteem. (I wasn't sure if that att sand and cup with slightly better crit rate were worth it sacrifice a ER sand and electro dmg cup. It seems it was)

did u take into account energy recharge? you can input mininum-maximum threshold for your prefered ER, before calculating. It seems like either you have clicked on "crit dmg" instead of "average damage" or... maybe you will have a really big burst dmg, but wont have it up most of the time.

I'd like to get to 300 to better battery Xiangling and Eula, but Raiden always get her burst way before cooldown like this. Unfortunatelly switching to an ersands my crit rate comes dow from 53 to 45, doesn't seem much, but you see it, that's why I wasnt sure.

I love the Optimizer. Always makes me feel like an idiot by giving me random pieces that vastly outperform my sets I've been working so hard on. XD I've been using it since Jinx's video on it, which while more in depth was also a bit outdated since the UI has changed around a bit, so thank you for this video, TenTen. I'll start sending it to people new to the tool so they don't get confused by the visual discrepancies. A second part explaining some of the more in-depth features of the optimizer would be awesome. Then I won't have to do ANY work when recommending the optimizer to people lol.

this tool is super cool and i recently started using it too. an in depth video explaining the nuances of building with the tool would be awesome. just maxing the damage doesn’t account for diminishing returns so some artifacts might be better used on other characters. for example, my xingqiu and xiangling both wanted the same few emblem pieces so I had to do some testing and decision making

There’s a little icon near the artifacts after you “equip” them in the optimizer that if you check it will not use those artifacts for other characters Should’ve mentioned it but it isn’t a big deal since people can find it relatively easily IMO.

@@rerg6923 I think that what Richard meant is that sometimes it's better to use a slightly worse piece if the better piece could make a bigger difference for another character. Calculator might say that a certain "S" piece would be the best for your Xiangling, so you equip it on her... but then you won't know that because of diminishing returns you could get a better overall damage output if you gave the "S" piece to XQ, and equipped your Xiangling with a slightly worse one.

i had my doubts with this, but remember this is just a program that inputs keypresses! while you should exercise risk, technically it is not doing anything at all to the games assets itself! its just automating something you would have done for like 6-8 hours lmao (i have over 1k artifacts this is so sad)

In that method you have to manually feed it screenshots of all your artifacts and it uses OCR to read the artifacts, subs stats and all. Just make sure that it's right tho... Sometimes it messes up.

If you really want to go hard on min/max (and you're okay manually inputting new artifacts you farm), Genshin Optimizer is great. You can get 90% of the way there yourself, but every now and then they'll throw a build at you that you wouldn't have thought of.

Many have been using this and I haven't personally heard reports of bans, I personally use a macro to play my lyre as well, also used to have a spam macro to pick up loot back in the day, for a very long time. (Until one too many cooking pots stun-locked me) However... Who knows, miHoYo might just be slow to punish it. I feel like they detect these things and are able to recognize it's not malicious on an automated level, but we don't know unless miHoYo address it themselves.

But don't get too cocky with your ability, optimizing personal dmg is simple but when it comes to reactions and buffs and EMs, things can get complocated very quick.

It just recommends the highest level artifacts, not the lower once or those the potential if you level them up. at this point its jsut a lot of work that one can do faster himself ingame.

You can just follow this simple rule.Take your crit rate multiply it by 2 and then add your crit damage into it to get crit value. If the crit value is >30 then your artifact is good. If it is >40 then it is very precious artifact. For your supports you can afford to have crit value lower than 30 or in some cases even lower than 20. But make sure to have other substats like ER, EM, ATK% or for some characters HP, DEF, etc.

The biggest lesson I learned from playing around with the optimizer is that Crit Rate / Crit Damage substats are overrated by the community and ATK% is underrated. This doesn't mean Crit substats are bad - they are still the best substats in most situations, it's just that usually the best pieces will be ones with a very high total of CR, CD, and ATK% with a good balance. Also any 4th scaling stat for some characters like ER for Raiden.

Remember that atk% has diminishing returns so if you for example use Benny q and put it in the optimizer (didn't actually watch the video so dunno if he mentioned that) it will recommend you less atk pieces

@@rkjj. Sure it's diminishing, that's why I said Crit is still the best overall. However, my point is that people often overestimate how good Crit is compared to ATK%, and if they only used the optimizer, they would realize that many of their so-called "copium" pieces are actually not copium at all due to high ATK%.

@@cirnobyl9158 communiity overrate crit bcoz we can get atk bonus easily from characters like bennet , weapon stat , and also atk% have a little higher chance of appearing on artifacts , where as crit is harder to get , mostly from 5* weapons and god roll artifacts

It’s not overrated. The reason why people recommend you roll for them is because they are astronomically harder to get compared to attack/attack%. And they are the last thing thing to apply when you toss out damage.

You optimize first whoever you want to prioritize, save the character, and then go for the 2nd most important and save, and repeat

how did you manage to open the Amenoma window in Genshin. If I am trying to click "alt" and "tab" or "win" "arrow key", the Genshin window always overlap the Amenoma window. So I am unable to scan :/

It's easy, go to settings/graphics/display mode, there says 1920x1080 fullscreen, change it to 1600x900 Windowed and that's it
