As a tourist we expect to pay a little more for a beachside location but comparing El Tunco to the rest of El Salvador it was a huge jump in price but we’ll never forget those delicious papusas 🤤

It’s just helpful for other travellers to understand the price difference when they visit. It is a more expensive destination when compared to some places in Mexico or Nicaragua for example, we got a much bigger accommodation in Mexico for about $20 USD right near the beach. It is what it is but if we were planning a trip we would want to know and that’s why we share it 🙂
