15:47 remember to order with “fresh milk”, otherwise they put milk powder (or cream powder )instead, also you can always choose the level of ice and sugar when you order a drink in a tea shop.

I have relatives in Taichung so I ride bike share there a lot. Flat city which is nice. Buses are super cheap for retired folks like us, $3 from Taichung to Taipei. Transit in Taiwan is super convenient and cheap. Cost like Bangkok quality like Japan. Wow.

When you order boba or bubble tea, it's true that a lot of sugar is added, but you can ask them for less sugar. For example, it's normal to tell them to add 50% sugar or 25% sugar. That is a method that is understood by all bubble tea vendors in Taiwan.

Ask for half sugar, half ice in your bubble teas like the locals. Use English and a hand gesture and they will understand. Else you end up with a full sugar, full iced drink.

一堆機車在夜市橫衝直撞 台灣超可悲 明明可以封路鋪地磚做成純行人徒步區 硬要人車共行看起來比越南泰國還破爛落後 好噁心的台灣 空有高昂發達的人均收入和世界領先的科技產業 生活水準跟第三世界國家一樣糟糕 一堆短視近利貪圖方便不願意改變的攤販跟機車騎士 還有過於民主的政府不願說服人民改變 可憐
