Thank you, brother! Glad this one resonated and made sense. Been really building out in my own world so I’m glad my cluster of thoughts came out in a consumable way!

What a great time to be alive with so many types of foot wear, we dont have to wear just converse for all our training! Great video Jake i like the idea strategic for the whole week anf picking the right "tool" based on the training plan!

Thank you, my friend! I appreciate you saying that. I’m a big believer in looking at footwear objectively. Think folks get hung up on brands/biases too often then sacrifice comfort/gains for things that don’t actually help them achieve their goals. Plus, shoes last longer when we rotate them with intent! 🤌

Rotating in the barefoot options is def the play. That's what I have had the most success doing too.

Monday to Sunday: Get jacked Nah, for real - right now it looks like the following. Note, this changes based on block. Monday: Upper Push focus with WOD for conditioning Tuesday: Lower - squat focus Wed: Rest or chill run Thur: Upper pull focus with WOD for conditioning Fri: Lower - deadlift focus/power Sat: Run or do some active ish Sunday: Rest/nurse a hangover if I have one, lol

What do you wear for recovery when you feet/ lower are feeling beat up? Thinking outside/ after the gym.
@thatfitfriend Жыл бұрын
Berks, go barefoot, or rock Haze Trainers/whatever I'm wearing for daily wear! I'm not big on the "recovery shoe" stuff that companies like Kane and UA are pushing, tbh. Seems like a waste of money for most consumers ngl.

Nano 2.0 or Born P Savage 1 for padel? Which one has most shock absortion support for a lot of heel stops?

Both will be dense, but I’d go born primitive! I’ve been using them for pickleball and have enjoyed them :)

Hmm… I’d prefer badminton shoes like the Yonex Power Cushion Aerus, they’re ideal for any racket sports, a 17 years old french youngster climbed from the 75 to the top 10 in world table tennis in a single year with those, contrary to more barefoot style TT shoes that were traditionaly used before kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaHMiKOjo7iqr8U

We have been doing a deadlift cycle at CrossFit for the last 6 weeks so I’ve been wearing my metcon 8s because they are flatter than most shoes. However I had a bad deadlift day yesterday with them for some reason. Would you recommend any Nano or other shoe for deadlifts?

Before buying another shoe, I’d try going barefoot for your next pulling sessions. Think you’ll feel stronger doing so and if you like how that feels, barefoot shoes are fantastic options for tuggin days!

Excellent, time to buy more shoes and rotate 😂
@thatfitfriend Жыл бұрын
LOL, on the real, though. You'll usually get more out of your shoes doing so!
