19:32 you changed the torso/ribcage plane on downswing to achieve inside-out or it’s the same plane/direction but somehow the rotator cuff of the right shoulder make you to achieve the inside-out? Great content. Thanks

Thank you so much for your question and support! The torso and ribcage plane are also adjusted to achieve the inside-out path. I plan to explain this in detail in the next video. I apologize for the delay in updates, but please look forward to it!

Nobby Teck, an Japanese studio had make series of [ golf shot slow motion ] They made 18000~40000 FPS videos and replayed (再生)at 10 FPS , I even watched them at 0.25 playing speed. Very good references to understand what's happening during impact!
This the best lesson and animation ever!! However I might misunderstand this… In fact…In a golf swing, the club path determines the direction in which the clubhead travels relative to the target line at impact. This influences whether the ball will start left, right, or straight relative to the target. Combined with the face angle at impact, the club path plays a crucial role in dictating the curvature of the ball’s flight, such as a draw, fade, slice, or hook.
@hoshitore4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I think that's right. This is due to the effect of friction, which is said to affect the club path direction by about 15 to 25%. That's what I meant when I said "not exactly the same" in this video. Sorry for not explaining it in detail. However, the direction of the shot is determined in large part by the direction of the face, so I'm explaining this to help you understand that. (Many people mistakenly think that the direction of the shot is mostly affected by the club path.) This time, I made it so that the general golfer can understand the basics. This is because, generally, when considering the direction of the shot, adjusting the direction of the face has a greater impact. (About 80% is determined by the direction of the face.) I would like to give a more detailed explanation in the future, such as why the direction of the shot changes depending on the club path, the effect of the face direction, and the difference in the way the ball flies depending on the place where the club head impacts.

@@hoshitore Thank you! I am expecting your next contents. Keep up the good work!
Amazing channel and videos. Thank you so much. I'm from Taiwan. One thing you may need to check is power fade. For professional pro fades, they are actually slightly outside in but not inside out. It's not about getting extra distance but for fewer rolling on the green or fairway for better control. Please share more golf videos. Thanks.
@hoshitore5 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Regarding the swing of a professional golfer, I think that a fade that reduces rolling and controls the ball is different from a swing that maximizes the distance. The term power fade is also vaguely defined, and I don't think that a strict swing mechanism has been established. I think that a fade that produces distance with a powerful swing is simply called a power fade. (If there is a well-established theory or source, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.) The fact that the ball rolls less means that the impact is likely made with a down blow before the ball passes the lowest point. It is physically impossible to hit an upper blow after the lowest point with an outside-in shot, so I think that an inside-out shot is ideal for the purpose of "maximizing the distance with an upper blow." However, this is merely my personal opinion. Also, please do not misunderstand that I am saying that an outside-in shot is bad. Unlike long drive golfers, professional golfers place more importance on accuracy, so I think that an outside-in shot is very useful. And even with an outside-in shot, if your swing motion and muscle strength are good, you can get a considerable distance. For that reason, I think there are many professional golfers who hit an outside-in fade. Please let me know if you notice anything else in the future.Thanks.
I watched the video another time. Exelent! My only criticism: better say down and up instead of up and down.

Good job, yet, it's more complicated than you believe for the golf swing, impact and distance.
@hoshitore6 ай бұрын
Thank you for your opinion. In this video, we focus on a fairly simple explanation of the acceleration of the pendulum so that it is easy for the general public to understand. In reality, the way the ball flies varies depending on the characteristics of the golf club, such as the kick point of the shaft, the horizontal and vertical flex, the behavior due to the off-center structure, and the position of the center of gravity of the head. Also, the way the ball flies varies depending on whether the swing speed accelerates rapidly from the beginning or gradually. And how the body is used is much more complex, and it involves not only muscle strength but also the stretch reflex and elasticity of tendons, and it would take tens of hours to explain in detail everything from the lower body to the core and upper limbs. For now, please think of this video as a simple explanation of the swing. (Next time, I will also explain how to use the body, but I will focus on the important points.) I would like to give such a detailed explanation in the future.
