Thank you for the reminder ❤ I am one month into a cut and on vacation. While I still eat very clean and never drink, I am under stress from travel, interpersonal conflict, and lack of sleep. This is the perfect time to give myself permission to just hike, practice yoga, and nourish my body. Because of your messages, I can embrace this effort without worrying that I will backslide in the long run.

The first 2 q&a were so applicable and appreciated here! 18 wks pregnant with my 4th, switched to muscle mommy from a Caroline girvam program bc I felt like I wasn't recovering well, and the first trimester was TUFF this go around. I still only can manage 2 full body per week. Schedule wise w/ 3 kids and a full time job, it's so hard to have an hour and half at a time, so I've been splitting them in half and trying 1-2 trigger core sessions per week. Just trying to listen to my body, get enough rest during this Prego season, and literally do what I can fit in with the rest of my life, even if it's only 2 full body sessions per week.

Took ten days off from the gym and just focused on walking 15-20K steps every day and doing mobility work/stretching every day. Then on my first day back at the gym I PR'd every lift. 😂 It was most likely a mix of enthusiasm after the break driving intensity and being fully recovered. My goal is to start forcing myself to take 7-10 days off from lifting every 8 weeks or so. It is good to recharge desire to train and it supercharges recovery.

I plataued at 60kgs and I was stuck there for weeks! I trained for about 2 hours - more is better approach! I did 40 minutes of cardio after every workout and hit 10 000 steps a day. I was eating clean and I was eating around 1500 calories. I came across your podcast and I religiously watch it while having breakfast in the morning! I currently hit 5000 steps a day. I do 3 30 minute cardio sessions and my training intensity is cut down! I eat 1800 - 1900 calories at the moment and I have a deload week every 6-7 weeks. I reached a new low weight of 56kgs. Love the content!

I’ve been watching you for months. I’ve tried many a programs and as expected of women like me, I’ve lost and gained. I’m type 1 diabetic, late 40s mom, eating more protein now and lifting weights thanks to your messages. What’s the best program for a busy mom like me who wants to build muscle, improve metabolism and stay healthy? Also does your message apply to insulin dependent diabetics like me? Not that I’m impatient but do I have to work harder because of my condition? Thanks. I’m grateful for your podcast. Lastly thanks for being so bold and outspoken about your dependence on God, Sal. It’s very rare for public personalities nowadays ❤to

I have been having a hard time focusing on resistance training when I get to the gym. I do 30min of cardio 6 days a week. My dad is in kidney failure/dementia, so it was hard for me this morning . I only did 4 sets of 135 pounds on hex bar and that was as a struggle and only 10 min of cardio. I feel like a failure. I feel weak some days lately because of all the stress and I’m in my 40’s. Stressed financially, all of this combined, my workouts suck, but I still try to show up.

I just finished week three of MAPS 15 Advanced this week and I love this program! I live in an area that can get to 110 degrees F. in the summer and I wanted to try this program so that I don't lose the gains I've made from January to May. The first day felt weird only having two lifts but three weeks in and I love only having to complete two lifts a day since the temperature already gets to 100 degrees. Thank you for creating this program! Love the informative content.

My wife recently started Semaglutide. We agreed that she should start MAPS Anabolic while taking the shot. She started upping her protein to about 180-200g protein/day. Last month she lost 16lbs but gained 1.5lbs of muscle and has gotten so much stronger especially in her back squat. So when they announced MAPS GLP-1, I was excited because if my wife and I could see amazing results with the knowledge MP has given us, I can’t wait to see the amazing results those 50 people get with Sal Adam and Justin coaching them up.

I just fatiguing myself so much that even though I used heavy weights and high intensity my body didn't want to build up. Now I'll have to figure out how to balance it out so I still get to do free weight sometimes because I like the stability and core activation you get from it

I do karlakatai yoga at night, breath work, sleep plenty, eat plenty of protein, and regulate intensity. I never need to take time off. I currently strength training 3 days a week and I have four active recovery days now and I'm always progressing. Some people need the rest because they have no idea what they're doing or they are doing way too much, or they just don't know how to regulate intensity in waves or blocks

16:14 there is evolutionary basis for this that Jordan Peterson I believe has talked about- it’s about maximizing potential for grandchildren maybe. I totally screwed that up, but it’s a thing 😂

1:21:06 This guy claims that in 4 MONTHS he put on 12 pounds and claims it was almost all muscle. Haha. Even a beginner/brand new lifter isn't putting on 12 pounds of muscle in 4 months. Maybe if someone is taking a lot of gear, they could potentially hit that number, but that's even a short period of time for 12 lbs of muscle on gear. Muscle building is a slow process. This guy definitely hasn't had regular dexa scans and has probably just saw his weight go up from nearly doubling his calories, and is trying to convince himself it's all muscle and no fat. But that's definitely not 12 pounds of lean muscle in just four months. Haha. That's crazy.
