Hi Tina! What a coincidence - I just took my 1 year RL picture this morning! I really appreciate these tips. I'm not seeing the results I'd hoped for, but I am almost positive I do see some change for the better. Considering the year I've had, I'll call that a win! I've not been able to be consistent due to life circumstances and I'm sure stress didn't help things at all. Are you getting heavy snow, too?we're expecting 10 to 12 inches by the end of the day. Have a cozy Sunday, my sweet friend!

Hi Nancy Anne! You have had quite a year!! You have so many more important things to focus on!❤️ We did not get the snow. I hope you didn't have to go out in it and just could have some cozy relaxing time at home. Take care my beautiful friend💕
@nancyannesunboxings17 күн бұрын
@tinasbestmidlife Yes, so many more important to focus on, but using the Redlight gave me a few minutes of peace & warmth many days. 🥰 Thankfully, I was able to reschedule a doctor's appointment, so we stayed home warm & cozy! This is the most snow I've seen since we moved here 9 years ago. It's beautiful!!

Hi Tina! What a fantastic video. You already know I'm a huge Red Light fan and, as a matter of fact, I listened to this video while using my Maysama Pulsed Light Panel. I have seen really noticeable results on my 62 year old skin *63 this month...aghh, how did I get this age?* The Rooibus serum is the best isn't it? I really need to try the atomizer too. We are expecting a big snow storm today, and being a snow lover, I hope we get as much as is predicted! Have a wonderful day!

Hi Sal! It's your birthday month!!! Yay!! Listen friend I would not worry about that number at all because you look fabulous!! What you are doing is absolutely working, so keep on keeping on! Lol! So glad you are liking the panel. I swear that pulsed setting on the panel, just calms me down and relaxes me like nothing else! I hope you have a wonderful cozy, snow day today my sweet friend. Take care❤️

True, me either. Although I also bought the Hyalauronic masks made to use with it as well. So, obviously some serums work well with them!

Hi,Tina, thanks for this video. I've been using my Maysama panel for just coming up on 2 months. I use it daily, in the morning, for 6 minutes on my face and 6 on my head (for hair regrowth). I can't recall what Bev said about 10 minutes and amwondering if you might remember. I don't want to go to long but am eager to see results as soon as possible. Thanks so much xo
@tinasbestmidlife7 күн бұрын
Hi there! I think Bev mentioned that she does 1 minute continuous red light and then a 6 minute pulsed treatment. That is what I typically do for my face. As far as for hair growth, I don't know what here recommendations are?? I am sorry!

When people do comparison photos, it's important that the lighting is exactly the same. Shadows and lack of shadows change everything in a photo.
@calista128014 күн бұрын
I don't know why you're even bringing it up, because you can obviously see the improvement because it's great enough no lighting tricks can hide it. 😅

Hi my sweet little sis. I love you in red. Red light therapy is definitely working for you. Your skin is perfection! I'm not a red light user, but I'd never use a device longer than recommended. It's like Tretinoin. Using more than recommended is not going to speed up any progress on your skin. This is so fascinating. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. I'm hoping that the weather forecast is wrong for tomorrow! Big hugs. ❤❤🥰🥶❄️❄️

Nobody, including my red light manufacturer, has been able to explain what to do when you are using the device for the skin, the brain and the muscles, which all require different exposure times. How are you supposed to protect the skin from the longer exposure times required for the brain and muscles?

How much sun exposure do most people regularly have? What about Vitamin D absorption from sun?
@traceyrhayes12 күн бұрын
i got the Dennis Gross red light mask that also has blue light and used it regularly on the combo setting. It exacerbated my acne. I then tried it on red light only and it gave me acne. and the blue light seems to do the same. I clean it after every use with alcohol. Everything says it helps with acne but that hasn't been my experience, any thoughts on this?
@tinasbestmidlife11 күн бұрын
Hi Tracy. That is too bad that even with the blue light settings, it's not helping or even exacerbating your acne. Unfortunately I have nothing to offer to help! Maybe someone else reading the comments can offer a solution that has worked for them 🤞🏻

Hi Tina, How long do you wait after applying your serums to use the mask? Ive read anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to make sure the serum is absorbed.
@tinasbestmidlife17 күн бұрын
Hi Jody! I messed up and didn't give this detail and I am sorry!! I learned this from Bev, if you are using a regular(non-pulsed)red light, it is best to wait 20 minutes and then do a treatment. If using the Maysama panel or masks on the pulsed setting. No need to wait after application, you can do a treatment right away. But I have to be honest with you. When I do non-pulsed red light treatments, I usually only let products absorb about 5 minutes or so before doing a treatment. Probably not ideal, but sometimes I just don't have the time! Thanks so much for watching and I hope this helped. Have a great one!

Should I be using both near infrared and red light or just red light on my face
@tinasbestmidlife16 күн бұрын
From what I have learned and again I am no expert, but if you can use both read and NIR, that seems to be the best. But if you suffer from hyperpigmentation, then that is where you might need to do things differently depending on your skin tone. I am attaching what I thought was a very interesting blog from the Maysama website on treating melasma with red light. I'll attach if you are interested. I hope this helps! maysama.com/blogs/news/using-led-therapy-for-treating-melasma?srsltid=AfmBOoobn6qtxh5GQOBa8gAsw8NuArRxaW0qNJ3HD9PNkcHh9ZXdHeK1

Good morning,Tina I always love all your videos. Forgive me if you said this in your video, but how long do you need to wait before you use your LED mask after you apply your serum?
@tinasbestmidlife18 күн бұрын
Hi Shelley! In the study that Maysama did with the great results, they waited 20 minutes after applying the serum before doing the red light treatment. I did learn from Bev, that with pulsed red light treatments, you do NOT have to wait that amount of time, due to the fact that pulsed light makes your skincare absorb into your cells quicker. So if you have the Maysama masks or panels and are using the pulsed settings, you can apply the serum and then go and do your treatment right away. Now if you are using regular LED(not pulsed), ideally you should wait 20 minutes, but honestly, I never wait that long. I just make sure the serum is absorbed and then I would do a treatment. I hope that helps!

Now I'm seeing ads for red laser masks. What is the difference between red laser & red led?
@tinasbestmidlife18 күн бұрын
Hi there! You ask a great question and I have to be honest, this is something I don't know too much about. From the little bit of research I have done, these are my thoughts. The one "laser"red light mask that I looked at, I am honestly not sure if it is a true laser or not?? Yes, the beam of the light is very concentrated as compared to a regular LED device, but I am trying to figure out if it is truly a laser?? The device I looked at also has a very HIGH irradiance (strength/power of the device) and they are recommending 10 minutes a day for treatments. This is a bit concerning for me personally, as I am not sure that with that high irradiance for that length of time that there could possibly be issues of going well past the beneficial stages and very quickly into the "oxidative stress" phase?? I am sorry I don't have much to offer on this, but just wanted to give you my opinion and thoughts. I am hoping to learn more about these devices that are claiming to be lasers. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a great comment. I hope you have a great one!
@Ma88la8817 күн бұрын
Irradiation level. To get some medical results you should have 90 j/cm2. Masks are scam,panels do the magic. I own omnilux contour and I used it for 1.5 y - did absolutely 0. Now I am using Helios serie 2 panel - observation after 12 weeks - no migraines, better vision during a night, skin more firm, sun spots started disappearing, my gums stopped bleeding, more energy and better sleep

Tina How long do you do your red light treatment.
@tinasbestmidlife15 күн бұрын
Hi! If I am using say the Current Body mask with regular non-pulsed red light, I do a 10 minute treatment. If I am using the Maysama panel or masks I will do 1 minute continuous red light and then 6 minute pulsed red light. Hope that helps!

Hi Tina! In your narrative and in the graph you show free radicals as building during red light therapy. I have always heard free radicals are NOT desirable and are instead reduced in this treatment. What's the truth?
@tinasbestmidlife18 күн бұрын
Hi Patricia! I was just like you when I first learned this. I always thought that free radicals = bad for you! But as it turns out, yes every time you use red light, free radicals are produced. Initially though, they are a positive thing as they ignite a lot of cellular repair. You just have to stop treatments before they build in excess and can then start to damage instead of help. I'll attach an article from PubMed if you are interested. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you have a great one! pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6214457/
