Yeh with this drone you could do that with the FPV motion controller 3 and also using the quick shot mode where you don’t fly with a controller 🙌🏼

My neo is expected to arrive this Thursday and I’m super excited! It will be interesting to go from the Avata 2 to the Neo. My main uses will be short range FPV (seems safer around pets and easily damaged objects with the enclosed prop guards), risky moves that I dont want to wreck my Avata 2, and the no controller follow modes
