Where is your starting monster?

I followed the "setup" in the Mission Guide book which mentioned nothing about a starting monster, and so it was missed. In the rulebook it's mentioned though. I'm opting (house rule) to just go by the Mission setup and skipping the initial monster, which I find thematically not to my liking anyhow.

I'm not sure. Then again, there are a ton of games I've never heard of either until I chance by them on YT or BGG.

Does that action card prevent the hunger die from increasing or just prevent the damage from hunger for a round after your card flips when the hunger die reaches 6? It sounds like it's the later but I haven't played in years and can't recall if hunger die ticking up is considered damage or just a timer.

You are immune to the damage from hunger, but it does not stop the hunger die from progressing. I mess this up first time, but clue in soon after!

You prolly mentioned this in the tutorial portion of this playthru but ... does ea. character have the same carrying capacity ? or can the Firefighter maybe carry a bit more ?

Carry limit of 6 (for true solo character)

If memory serves me when you find a can of gas you can use it to refill your lighter to two again. Awesome play through so far
