Since starting watching You Kiki started the starch solution a week ago and I’m down 7.6lbs already in a week! This is my way of life now I’m loving eating carbs again 👌🏽
@sharlenepage15722 жыл бұрын
I've gotten to the point where I fear eating carbs as they seem to just apply themselves to my hips 😅. I've gained 10 Unwanted pounds that seem to love me, but I have to get them off. I absolutely crave starchy foods and have been eating the wrong starches, junk foods. I thought that after my 3 day juice fast (starting tomorrow) that I would do a meat and vegetable no starch no oil diet but I don't digest meat well ugh 😂 and don't want to eat it. So for my health sake I need to lose the 10lbs. Kiki makes it look easy. I want to try this way of eating instead. So praying 🙏🏼 that this works for me!!!

Since going plant based, I notice I don’t like anything sweet for breakfast. Before I used to have a ton of agave or something all over my oatmeal. And now I eat vegetables (this morning I broccoli and cauliflower with corn on the cob). And I feel so much more satisfied than when I eat something sweet (even fruit) for breakfast!

Just had to tell you...I found your channel on Sunday and have been looking at and listening to your vids every since .. even at work. You have literally changed/blown my mind with the foods that are beautiful and simple to make and eat. Always wanted to go more plant based with some of the same issues that you have. I attend a boot camp 5 to 6 days a week (since March 2020) and there is something missing..yes, the weight is coming off and it is very noticeable now, but I felt that my diet is holding me back with the amount of exercise I do. So here I am, sitting here eating 85% veggies, 10% starch and 5% meat for my lunch and have been incorporating more veggies, if not all veggies, like Monday night..(i'm walking now, but need to add starches). I'm like you...Mama Bear makes one meal and Papa Bear eats. I think this just may be what he needs to finally drop weight. The cheese sauce may be the game changer...he loves cheese. I've purchased Dr. McDougall's book on kindle and audiobook. Just want to tell you thank you for making this appealing for everyone to be able to do. Stay tuned for updates! Thank you again~

It's so relieving only having to prepare 1 dish for every meal, but he doesn't like hardly anything I'm used to making for myself. Hoping he'll like some of your recipes♡ He's done so well staying away from the meat, it's just the dairy he's hasn't been mindful of.

You are my hero and inspiration! I get so much motivation from your videos 💗💗💗 Today had cheat evening, ate cake and feel sick 😰😰😰😭😭😭 I don't understand why I cannot eat "normal" at all?! Just this very restricted way. It's not bad way! I'm satisfied and filled with it - but if going out, that's the problem! There's only one restaurant in this city I can have something healthy like Kiki's diet is. Fresh, light and vegan. So, the hardest thing is to make EVERY meal myself!

Ooooh! Love the savory hash idea for breakfast! I'm so hungry right now, lol! I will have to try it. My husband actually just made an Eat More Weigh Less video on my channel too. Sugar & Alcohol Sensitivities: FYI for those avoiding sugar and alcohol - Watkins vanilla powder contains sugar, so if someone is avoiding white sugar, then purchase either real vanilla bean powder that contains nothing but vanilla beans, or try using organic vanilla "flavoring" (which does not contain alcohol as vanilla extract does) because unless you cook/bake you will taste the alcohol (flavoring tastes better).

Binge watched Hannah’s channel over the weekend. I have to find the video with the simple pancakes again as I have the ingredients. I didn’t get to write it down. Thank you for the breakfast ideas! I’m working on some large/important projects that are time consuming. Struggling with the concept that I can still have a routine and get big stuff done. Maybe it’s anxiety talking. Maybe it’s leftover from my mom’s ways. Either way, I need to fix my thinking. I need to start prepping meals some. Also still struggling with finding meal prep containers for family style. My husband can eat a lot. Have little room in my cupboards and fridge. Again... large projects. A little frustrated but trying.
