If you get a jack under the knuckle you can line it up perfect to get the bolt through instead of using your punch

I have a 2010 jeep Patriot latitude I'm 17 almost 18 I'm looking at this bc I'm wanting to do the same thing to my jeep also and put some nice rims and some stuff I got 2 tens in the back but I wanna put better suspension underneath it

So you know how patriots come a little bit lower in the front and a little higher in the back? If I just did the rear coilovers you think it’ll be more “leveled”?

Yeah you could do that. The only thing that I would say is the coilovers in the rear will be stiffer and have a rougher ride.

The godspeed mono ss look so nice with the tapered rear spring but will prob go with these. Just how stiff is the ride?

I can't say for sure but, I think you could. These will make the car ride kind of rough compared to the original shocks and struts though.

@@gasimako you would want to test drive it and get it set how you like it before putting the inner panels back in

Yes, I haven't done it yet though. You can take the coilover out, spin the bottom off and cut the threaded part about an inch

@@freddyaranda9014 yeah, I'll make a video on it if and when I get around to doing it😂 which might not be too long. I will be replacing control arms, trailing arms and all of the suspension components on the rear soonish.

Did you replace anything else or just coilovers? Camber/casters or sway bars?

I just change the coilovers. I am going to be changing the sway bar bushings though

If you could redo this with stock kyb/Moog/ Monroe would you? Do they need to be adjusted often? Has the extra stiffness and rattle caused other issues? What about the sway bar links, did you use adjustable ones?

I would definitely redo this install with higher quality components. I was looking to do this on a budget. I have not adjusted them since I installed them. It is a stiffer ride but no rattling. I used Chevy Cobalt front sway bar end links because they were the length I wanted but I would suggest adjustable end links because drilling the bolt hole larger in the sway bar was very difficult.

I understood the Patriot to be the same from 07-17. Are any Patriots listed for fitment? If none are listed I would say yes they will work but if there is a year range, then I would question it.

I can't say for certain but I believe they are compatible. Since the Patriot platform was the same from 2007-2017.
