Pretty nice, really like a lot of the usability features like the frunk, the midgate, etc and hope more brands and models start to focus more on features like this.

SAIC‘s sub-brand IM motor already offers semi-solid state battery one of its latest model with 1000km range. So not entirely impossible since Maxus is under SAIC's wing as well.

I'm not into trucks, but that's better looking than anything else out there in my opinion. Cybertruck is too big, and Rivian looks old fashioned. This could give Tesla a real headache, although the charging rate will need to improve.

1000km was clickbait or a lie, which lowers the reliablitiy and credibility of this channel. (also that true for the video about BEV registration are higher than gas registrations in Norway - also only partially true) 350 to 420 should be more realistic. Also it's not V2G capable, only V2L. They had shown the car at IAA Transportatin in Hannover this week. Best option of this car is the tow capacity of 3,5t and the frunk. But be aware it has only 600kg load capacity.

The reason Cybertruck don't have mid gate is for safety reason in case of emergency braking that you don't want your load to come into the cab & hurt someone.

You could say the same for most new electric vehicle startups - how many make am profit from selling cars? Tesla makes a profit but it’s hard to break down how - selling credits tended to be the big centre while I’ve never quite got to grips with the GP a per units sold. Tesla has broader profit builders such as storage - pure EV companies seem to struggle.

WLTP And CLTC Is not Real World Range, EPA Range is more realistic
@narvuntien3 сағат бұрын
It depends on a lot of things. CLTC has a lot of "city driving" as that is the type most Chinese people engage in, WLTP has a better mix of city and hwy driving, but things in europe are closer together and suburbs are less spread out so you don't actually use the hwy that much. Then EPA range is a lot more Hwy driving biased and less city driving due to the nature of the road network in the USA.
@chiss4181Сағат бұрын
@@narvuntien Correct, but when you're on long journey, you tend to drive more on the highways
@kevinW8263 сағат бұрын
Yeah in simulation probably. If this was real world 1000 km it would be all over the news, but it’s not. So therefore a pipe dream that won’t happen. And on another note, when the financial system crashes and people have to choose between putting food on the table and buying an overpriced iPhone on wheels that has to be plugged in and costs more money, guess which one they will choose? Do you really think people who are struggling now are even remotely interested in an EV? I’m not. $1000 a month for a depreciating paperweight that has to be plugged in is one of the most retarded ideas ever. That $1000 is the difference between keeping the roof over our head versus being on the street. The best vehicle to own is the one that is paid off and will last with regular maintenance. No EV will replace that since everyone in this world is so focused on the newest and greatest thing they are willing to keep themselves in financial debt by trading in their EV every couple of years just like a cellphone.
