Imagine if all the car manufacturers and charging providers could just agree on one software protocol, so that you'd never have to wonder whether your car will be able to complete the handshake process successfully. Sometimes, one person's software really is the other person's nightmare.

A universal serial bus kind of thing, you know like phones laptops and other gadgets have...the USB standard. IN EU there is a law that mandates all these devices have the same standard. SO should be done for cars, a single connector type and a connection standard. When you plug in your vehicle, it must be connected and establish communication

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm only aware of 1 protocol for CCS, to me it seems the problem is in the implementation of it. Maybe some manufacturers didn't follow standards, and just "made it work" with the chargers they tested (or vehicles in the case of manufacturers of charging equipment)?

CCS is the protocol. However, it's unnecessarily complicated and difficult to get right. It's bound to have compatibility problems.

I exactly dislike digital mirrors for the same reasons: Fokussing will tire your eyes over time, you cannot change view by moving the head, and most importantly you have no depth perception.

For anyone wondering Kw = amps x voltage /1000 for DC. I am an old German not Asian - most of us can also do the conversion on the fly. Based on the charge of 12% to 37% being 21kwh (see 19:01) it has about an 84-85 kwh battery which means the range based on 279Wh/km or 449Wh/mile (15:22) is around 310 km (193 miles) give or take.
