I kind of feel like this was one that was just talking. I kind of didn't really know how to set up the story for this character. how to explain their powers and also getting good recordings. There were some interesting duelists mechanics. that were probably unknown But this one felt tiring to edit. But its complete now.

Ive played this game for a large amount of time at this point, which explains why I love maxwell so much. Everything that’s trivial or annoying to do can be remedied when playing as him, even if it takes a bit of time. He’s just really comfortable and a good character for megabasing

Maxwell is the character that has grown on me the quickest. I love how with pretty much just a snap of my fingers I can get all the tedious and annoying stuff done, leaving me more time to do the things I want to do. Playing as him I feel like really has opened up the game for me, it's endless what I could do now.

How can I beat adventure mode I need maxx

@raingaming3209 I play Maxwell in Don't Starve Together / dst and this video talks about how he works in dst. Adventure mode in only in solo Don't Starve. How I was able to beat it was using Willow with ALL dlcs turned OFF. So Rain of Giants / RoG, Shipwrecked / Sw and Hamlet / Ham are all turned off. I can't stress that enough as those dlcs add things to the game that are not in the villain solo Don't Starve. The best example of this is that I can think of is over heating. All of the dlcs add this to a capacity with all of the dlcs turned off. So by turning em all off, you give yourself less things to worry about. I used Willow as with all the dlcs turned off you don't have to worry about overheating, so committing mass arson isn't an issue and fire dispute it not burning things like machines with all of the dlcs turned off, it spreads very quickly. Willow also gains sanity from being around fire and in Adventure mode you mainly just want to get the hell out of dodge and into the next world soon as possible. I pretty much just ran around the different level causing mass arson, collecting the items, food and whatever I needed to survive until I pretty much just brute force my way through it. I kown this method might seem a lil strange and out there but it worked for me. Some people may also frown upon beating it with all the dlcs turned off or see it as cheating but the other name for Adventure Mode is *Maxwell's Door*, essentially he's doing everything he can to stop you from completing it to the point of even fighting dirty, so by that logic I should be able to fight dirty back. It only even the playing field, and I find no enjoy in a game with a vastly uneven playing field. But that's just me, my opinion, and how I beat Maxwell's Door. The short of is; You don't need to beat Adventure Mode in order to play as Maxwell in Don't Starve Together as he's just free for anyone to play as. In the solo versions of the game, his characters works differently and can only be unlocked via beating Maxwell's Door which can be a pain in the ass. If you really wish to beat it, then I hope this was of help to you, if not I kown there are plenty of resources on the internet to help beat it and best of luck to you.

The wickerbottom book costing double sanity can actually be a benefit, considering how hard it is to go insane on maxwell. Use her books, then farm your nightmare fuel for your codex and shadow equipment. If you need sanity, green caps or a wear a hat for less than a minute.

Though I will admit I don't ever have that much free time as Maxwell - I think I get even busier being a base builder as him. It's an endless toil with him.

Wickerbottom and Maxwell are some of my favorite characters, and I love using Wickers books as Maxwell. I do hope that when the skill trees come out that the devs sprinkle a little extra love on Wickerbottom, so I have incentive to stay as her instead of just switching to her to make the books and bookshelves and then switching back to Maxwell and staying as him. Perhaps make the books more effective when she reads them? Maybe reduce sanity use with reading glasses or something? I do adore Maxwell though. His utility, perks, ease of resource gathering and particular style of combat I find very appealing. Anyway, thanks for another lovely video, I find your content to be insightful and entertaining and your avatar is adorable.

I feel like people are forgetting his other craft the magician chest which can be used as a team effort as long as u can use it for item transporting since having room to bring the loot back can make the player go on long trips or to use in special farms like the reed trap which cant be brought to base unlike monkey tails

The fact that maxwell can read wickerbottoms books is just too unfair to wickerbottom, as wickerbottom may as well be viewed as a switch character or a direct downgrade to maxwell in the late game. Maxwell is strong as is and i wish klei would alter or just remove the perk to make wicker more appealing to actually play in longterm worlds.

Yeah, it was a legacy skill from when books weren't rechargable so the limit was how many books you made before becoming Maxwell, but now they recharge (though slower). I like Maxwell being able to use the books, but I think it would be cool if he either used double durability or the spell was half as effective or had a different effect because Maxwell isn't good at light magic from all his studying of dark magic.

The score system was something I was not previously aware of. In the 3rd scenario, what does the game consider as 'attacking'? Does this mean actively holding the f key, or having attacked something within the previous x seconds? Does whatever Maxwell is attacking have to be targetable by duelists, or can he be fighting nightmare creatures?

Its based on active target it maxwell target is the same as the duelist they are max If not they have that small deduction
