One of the very BEST reviews (on Air Fryer Ovens) that I’ve EVER seen. I was having a Hell of a time deciding between the Breville, Cuisinart, Cosori, Emeril, and Kalorik. The problem with the Kalorik is that it’s so...”New” (so very little reviews on it, so far). So THANKS Dude, for your two (2) VERY thorough (Awesome!!! 😄👍) reviews on this. It would seem (looking at these five), that the Kalorik is the Best (especially if you want that Rotisserie option), with a larger capacity 👍 - Air flow is the “key” with these Air Fryers, and (according to the commercial) the Kalorik has a much better Air Flow then all the others.

im sorry to say i was going get this one but the size is smaller then my nuwave that i was trying to replace with a newer one but emeril one was smaller then mine too i was going get this and emeril just cause the rotteserie but i found a bigger that holds up to 16 inch pizza and 18-20 lb ham so its bigger and its the oster xl brand so might he getting that one instead sorry this is still my second best but other one is bigger more room for pans and i want that whole oven tyoe of feel to cook more options and more things at one time

You should wrap your crumb tray on the bottom in foil. Far less crap to clean off of it. As a matter of fact, it will stay perfectly clean and occasionally you just throw the foil away, then reline the crumb tray. All set for next time.

I'm back with an update after the "learning curve". I've had this for a couple of months now & love it! The smell from the factory oils burning off was pretty awful but a few heating cycles (in the garage!) took care of that. I've used a few different food blogs to get recipes for air frying & have found some great ones. None are specific to this model but they work well regardless. The pans included are better than I expected & clean up is easy. It's big so make sure to check the measurements if space is limited. Thanks again for the review, Jeff. So glad my old toaster oven finally died. I have not seen this on tv, but my husband and I were at Walmart looking at the new air fryers. People I know have them. I chose Korik over the more expensive brands because I like how squared off it is. I did the unboxing, wiping down, and reading the manuel last night. I prefer to learn on youtube. I got it last night. So far I made toasts only. Like it. After I try more option I will get rid of toaster, small air fryer, counter top convection oven, George Foreman rotisserie and indoor grill. That's 5 appliances! It's perfect for my journey to minimalism. I am gonna keep my dehydrator. It dehydrates much more fruits at once than Kalorik. Kalorik might be ok for small amount of herbs to dehydrate. I am very exited! Thank you for your review. It saved me lot of time.

I just received my MAXX and I was surprised at how compact it actually is. I had a Black & Decker toaster oven and it took up more counter space than this does. I have owned various NuWav dome oven models for 10+ years. And while I loved the way it cooked, lifting the dome was a nuisance and it didn't rotisserie which is great, but you can only cook a max of a 4 pound bird and need to truss or the legs will drag in the drip pan causing the left side of the bar to pop out. LOVE IT

I’m about the furthest thing anyone can get from being a cook, but I want to be healthier and learn to make great tasting food at home, so last Christmas I asked for (and received) this appliance. I took it out of the box and got overwhelmed. Ever since, it’s been just been looking pretty and pristine in the kitchen 😂. How is the cleaning? Can you get all the grease out? I have a Ninja XL oven and it's horrible to clean. I am ready to take it back because you just can't get it all removed. It smokes a lot too.

Hi Jeff, Some advice. Buyers should be careful with measurements for American and Canadian customers. 25 Liter capacity = 26.4 quart capacity. Second, the handle for taking out the rotisserie spit is not on the outside. It's a large U-shaped steel handle that goes inside the oven to lift out the rotisserie and Jeff showed it well. Also, be careful to make sure you get the 11 attachments. I paid the higher price and only got 9 attachments although my box it came in says clearly on the outside that there should be 11 attachments. Sadly, there was no bacon tray! Finally, Jeff's model has an air filter already installed on the back. Mine arrived with a silver pouch containing a black, plastic, rectangular box housing a small perforated brick of black charcoal. It has a piece of white sponge holding the charcoal brick inside the plastic housing and the whole thing is very securely taped up with seriously strong tape. Careful opening that. Kalorik says nothing about that white sponge, but I cannot believe you want to keep that. It's probably to secure that black charcoal brick during transportation, so you will want to get rid of that. Then you install the black plastic box with the charcoal brick inside onto the back of the Kalorik unit by sliding the box into the slots on the back. Careful! The brick is delicate. Mine arrived with 3 cracks but I was able to install it. I'm looking forward to using my unit and I wonder if Kalorik will send me that bacon tray as I've already explained all this to them.

The one thing I noticed when you were cooking was that from other reviews of this machine I learned that it is highly recommended to turn the frat around half way through to prevent the food from over cooking on one side

Thank you for your great how-to on the control panel! I’m fairly good with electronics, so before looking at the manual, I tried my way around and was a bit lost - so I went thru the manual, but knew a great video tutorial was in order - thank goodness for yours!! You take the time to clearly explained the process and I feel from you visually simplifying each step, it’s now locked in my brain, I won’t have to keep referring to the manual! BTW I had an Ostba Air Fryer Toaster Oven before the Kalorik. I chose it mostly for its larger size & black color (otherwise I would’ve gotten the Kalorik Maxx) I really liked it for cooking everything, especially the rotisserie function, but after 3 whole chickens, the rotary motor didn’t have enough power to rotate anymore - I thought it might be the weight of the chicken (5 pounds), so I next tried a 4 lb chicken, no rotation! Socket rotated when empty, but not with anything more than the rod on it. I even tried an empty fryer basket/cage I got on eBay, no luck! So I contacted Amazon and they accepted the return In it’s place I decided to get the Kalorik, also because it can go to 500 degrees to sear steak, other ovens only go to 450 Kalorik has more accessories than the Ostba, and in comparison made better. Anyways, thanks again!!!

Excellent Review, I got The oven and said to myself, I'm glad I got it at a great low price...it was a bit scary at 1st, it seemed it would be complicated to navigate all the features/controls and equipment (Be careful unpacking Not to Lose the Rotisserie Rod as I almost did, it's slim and easy to miss being taped to the foam inserts) Yes your description and start-up lesson are very informative and I'm more confident in using this appliance now... I notice that users will have to get a sense of adjusting the Levels to get the desired doneness to their preference as well, I kicked it off with sweet potato fries and nuggets, the fries were a bit over crisped and the nuggets were a tad too soft, but so goes the new guy with a new Kitchen Gadget/Toy I'm sure with your help I'll do fine next time at the controls, Thanks for making sense of things here...

I use my 360 for dehydrating only. I have an early edition of the Kalorik that is difficult to dehydrate with...I'm told the newer version fixed the issue. I use the Kalorik on a regular basis.

I just bought the Kalorik Maxx from Amazon and waiting for delivery. I just watched your video and really found it interesting as an introduction. Just curious, I would think that air frying the nuggets and fries in a mesh basket would allow the hot air to circulate all around it eliminating the need to flip the nuggets and fries over. Have you tried doing it without flipping the food? I can't wait to get mine. It looks well made. Thanks for the video.

Thanks, Nice review,,, its nice to see a hands on demo compared to reading all the reviews on Amazon.... The gap in the doors seems to be a major complaint and un-even cooking between the front and back ( most likely due to the heat escaping from the doors ) 5 slices of thick cut bacon on a plate wrapped in paper towels in your microwave on high for 6 minutes, no muss no fuss no cleaning, throw the paper towels in the garbage throw the plate in the dishwasher...

Yes, I just stumbled onto your chanel a few min. ago. Could you also do a review on the Ninja cooker? I've been considering buying one. Then perhaps you could do a compare/contrast between the Maxx and Ninja. Also, it doesn't matter if you have a regular 'ol toaster oven or the Maxx oven, they ALL require proper ventilation, with no less than 4 in. of space between these cookers and a wall/cabinet or other appliance. And absolutely don't let any elec. cords get in the way.Good vid. BTW.

@@YoniNadi I was pretty disappointed with the dehydrating feature but overall I like it. It is a bit expensive...I don't typically use likert scales when rating a product. That being said we use it all the time 3-4 time per week.

I clean it immediately. I use a silicone oven glove (so I don't burn myself) and a wash cloth with hot water. Cleans it right up.

Smell is nauseating lol true like burnt plastic very chemical but I opened my windows and didn’t stay in the kitchen and got over it. I just bought this at Costco and had no idea it was a As seen on TV product and I don’t get great results with those usually so I feel a bit better so far of my purchase. I've used glassware dishes in mine and they did fine. Not sure about Pyrex. Can you use them in an oven? If so they should be ok in an airfryer but check with manufacturers recommendations

Hi Jeff question, I have this unit its now 6 weeks old. I went to hit the off button and the wording all smudged off so the on off is gone and now the Air fry black is smudged and oven, is there something I can do to get the wording back I did send them a note and never heard back. I just bought it from Walmart Canada for 129.99$. It was on liquidation. My wife made the FIRST PIZZA 🍕. And oh boy!!!! The difference was so huge from the Regular oven. The pizza was popping out from the dish. It was so perfectly done. The only downside is that it needs better insulation. But overall it’s a good airfryer.

got my Maxx and doing some testing on temps..initial prep set at 500 it got to 572...then set at 400 air fry and it cycled between 545 and 466 degrees..CAN'T YOU DO BETTER THAN THAT?

How would you compare this to the emril French door air fryer. I'm currently using the Nuwave Brio im looking to get another air fryer oven

So do you think the Emeril fryer is better for more enclosed areas with not much room? Also does the Emeril get hotter then this one? I find this to possibly be dangerous for kids around the kitchen if it needs some space and can’t be close to the wall and I would have to pull away from the wall and closer to edge where kids will be walking around. Do you think the Emeril is just as good for air frying? I just want a good air fryer I don’t eat meats so I don’t care about those things. Thoughts???

Hi jeff, i jusg got mine kalorik air fryer. The first time i cooked (french fries) i noticed smoked coming out the side of the door? Is it normal? Does it happen to your air fryer?

Hi, Jeff, Just asking? Did you notice on your Maxx an oil or grease drip underneath the unit after cooking? I'm not sure if I failed to wipe the unit down after cooking or what. The drip was under the front legs of the unit on mine. Thanks

I read in the directions that this could happen. Grease or oil can hit the door and run down. They said if this happens put a pan underneath to catch the oil. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Thanks for the videos :) Does the weird smell go away? I followed the instructions on burning off the factory oils 5 times & it's still very strong. I haven't tried cooking in it yet because the smell is awful.

The directions say not to use foil...it could cause the oven to get hotter than indented. That being said I do use foil because it makes easier cleanup for me. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Does the Maxx air fryer have a reheat option if I would want to use it as a microwave? Because I know the Emeril Lagasse one has a reheat option. Also, which air fryer do you think has a greater capacity the Maxx air fryer or Emeril Lagasse? Because I want to be able to hold a lot of stuff in it.

Hey I just purchased this and I had a question for u. If u look at the bottom of this device u see 3 screws in a triangle form and in the middle theres a hole. My question is in that hole is there a screw or no screw? I could be wrong but seems like it was probably screwed in so tight that the screw itself broke off inside the screwing process.. please help

I just bought it yesterday. Is something wrong if your door only opens on one side to open up both doors or both door work to open door by each door. My left side open both doors but my right side don’t. Is something wrong out it should be like that. Thanks

Cleaning these air fryers are always difficult to clean...I typically clean it within a few minutes of cooking and although not recommended I sometimes use foil. Happy cooking.

Your review was a deciding factor on this model. We love it but I have to find a way to disable those infernal beeps that happen when you do anything! Every notch in turning the nob, every button press! At some point I'm going to open it and cut the wires.

I hope someone does a video soon that shows how to take apart the oven and disable the beep! This is the only gripe so far. The beeping is OBNOXIOUS!
