Most meta decks already run 3 nibs. I don’t think 40 cards Branded runs Nib but 60 does, snake eye runs Nib so does Lab and SHS. Legit only Tearlaments and Pendulums don’t play nib but again they don’t play any handtraps whatsoever. Maxx c slots won’t be filled by already played Nib.

Branded still is the best board breaker meta deck. With Super Poly and Albaz it can - almost - break every field imaginable. Enjoyed the heck out of this tournament live, much better duels overall without Maxx C around to take up deck space, eat interruptions, or otherwise ruin people's turns. No idea how different it is behind the scenes for you or the players in regards to time, but I definitely wish you would do this "no Maxx C" tournament more often, preferably once EVERY month, instead of just every 3 months as you suggested in the intro (or hopefully Konami will just ban it finally and then not have to worry about it, maybe tourney's like these can give them a showing that the game is fine/better without the roach).

LOL u literally answered your question lol!! youre playing in a format where majority of the cards have an intro to a combo at t1, graveyard is your resource, hand is your resource, field is your resource (and on occasion banish is your resource) and on turn 2, that player only has his hand as a resource which puts that player at a very massive disadvantage lol!! its because youre looking at a very small picture here bro, u wont even get a massive advantage from infinite as what you said on maxx c advantage as long as you play around with it! same goes as your understanding that if you drew the 'out' which the percentage of drawing is so minscule if you do the math!! in a tcg without maxx c an average handtrap is 6-9 which sits around 17.5-22.5% and in those small chance the right handtrap you need to draw is even smaller than that!! all l'm saying is if you play a max c format the chance of outing and drawing brick is so massive because an average handtrap in that format is 14-18 which sits at 35% draw rate, that maxx c alone is the reason why in ocg/masterduel you have called by the grave and cross-out designator which WILL dilute the deck building even further to an actual 20 main deck draw and another 20 for hand trap/maxx c!! probably the only reason why maxx c was never ban in OCG in the first place because yugioh decided majority of the meta would be to ss and to convulute the deck a necessary evil of maxx c is required otherwise a game without maxx c t1 players will ALWAYS have a massive advantage
