I have the same problem now with my 2011 International Durastar with a Maxxforce DT engine. So you changed the negative cable from the battery to the starter?

If my 2011 Tr cranks but red light engine shutdown come on then truck cut off by itself. What is the problem?

You have to plug in and know what values your looking at during cranking.

@@Reese-Tube I have a maxxforce dt and this trucks not are junk at all is just maintenance and this trucks do the job they have some issues like any other engine

@@juangomez8186 Yeah, the only problem with the DT is that the one time it slowed down, the sensor told us to shut down the engine and that it had low coolant. Then the message went away a second later.

I have a 4300 it won’t crank to start I didn’t let the gauge cycle I just stared the truck up instantly and it was about to start and half way stopped I got tech out and checked everything and nothing I got a spn 1081 fmi 9 code
