We watched your videos and they were very helpful as my wife rides this bike and a seal failed on our last outing. The only thing we struggled with is getting the damper rod out. I didn't see any pictures or video of the end of the damper rod, so I didn't understand your PVC tool you made. We ended up using a 3/4" dowel that we tapered the end on SLIGHTLY and pushed that into the ROUND end of the damper rod up inside the inner fork tube from the top down. I meant to take a picture of it to post it here to help other people. I'm sorry I forgot to do that. If people watching this video understand it's just a "round hole" a little under 3/4", they can make a home-made tool like we did. It needs to be around 28" long to reach in there. Aside from that, your videos were a great help. Thanks again for taking the time to put this together.

I'm so happy you got use from it. And I'm happy you took it to another level. These videos were made when I was just starting you tube and from everyone's suggestions like yours it makes for a better experience for all. . The wooden dowel works in the same principal. You got the point. Thanks for your comment 👍

What size PVC pipe ?

I don't remember. However you can measure the opening and make sure to use schedule 40. It's alot tougher. The principal is to pin that damper rod as you turn the bolt from the end of the fork leg. Shine a flash light down the inside of the forks after you remove the oil and spring. You will see the damper rod that needs pinned down. Also I will recommend that you get a shop Manuel. Ty for the interest. You can do it
