hi there! we travelled from 21 May - 5 June! For a Singaporean license, you just have to apply for an International Driving Permit which is an online application. They will even mail it to you when its approved., so it was quite hassle-free. yes we had to alight but just stayed in the transit area until it was time to board! the airport staff there will give you a transit card as you are alighting. @@hiroverde
