You should move to Barcelona!! It's a fabulous city. You can find your wardrobe on the streets here! People don't take their old clothes to charity shops, they tend to leave them by the bins. I rarely buy clothes these days. My favourite piece is the Vivienne Westwood. X

I really love your style! And I honestly liked all the outfits because of the beautiful pieces, the way you style them femenine vs. sturdy (as you put it ha) and just very authentic to me. Zaps were the ONE ⚡️also totally relate to needing to ‘sturdy/cool’ up my feminine pieces. I’ve recently discovered that I generally prefer dressing more masculine but mixing it up with the odd feminine piece like a strappy v-neck is *chefs kiss*

I have been looking for some second hand birkenstock’s for quite some time now but can’t find any vegan options that are second hand and that I like the style of. Just wanted to know what your opinions are on buying clothes containing animal products but that are vintage/ second hand?🌼🌱

Hey Olivia, the vast majority of new vegan materials are derived from fossil fuels / plastic, won't biodegrade and ultimately have a bigger and more damaging impact on the planet (which ultimately harms all of us - including animals). I am always trying to prioritise durability in a bid to buy less, and unfortunately in the case of these vegan Birkenstocks, they have literally fallen apart in just a few years, whereas my original non-vegan ones before this pair lasted about five years. This informed my recent decision to buy an original pair second hand from Vestiaire. My priority is 'second hand, first' wherever I can (and just generally buying less) as I believe this to have a much less harmful impact. I am honestly not sure! I guess it depends on how we look at cruelty and if we believe harvesting an oyster for their pearls specifically is ethical. I think I would prefer to support a company that isn’t using animal products.

i go braless (i'm fairly small chested) and just wear it by itself. i just looked on the site page for you and the model looks like they do too... the brand haven't left any advice about this on the page (as far as i could see), so if you are looking to buy it, def pop the brand a message and ask their advice, i'm sure they'd love to help - they're lovely 🧡
