Maya 2022 - Curves, NURBS, Polys, in under 6 minutes

Although it can be intimidating for new users, the Bezier Curve Tool is one of the fastest ways to create complex curves in Maya. In our video, we start off by showing you how to use the Bezier Curve Tool to model a wine glass in Maya 2022. From here, we revolve around curves to get a NURBS surface that's converted to polygons. Finally, we look at why you need solid geometry rather than a single surface in Maya and end with a model in quads.

Why did you not select all the faces and extrude inside when doing the inside of the glass?

This is helpful but two things made this very difficult to follow. The audio is so quiet I didn't know it even had audio. The steps were so fast that I had to rewind several times because it isn't clear what menu or tool was selected.
