hey raffaele, within 16 minutes of a tutorial beginning from scratch not every aspect can be covered. some would have liked waves reaching the beach, others were missing the foam on the wave-tops. the next tutorial will cover something totally different anyway. best, --maximilian

this doesn't look like BOSS it looks like the old maya ocean that was in the visor/fluids tab

yes, pretty similar. i guess BOSS evolved from the team at wavefront/toronto which programmed the original ocean. BOSS is definitely faster.
