Correction! That's not a mridanga....it's called Sri Khol or just khol....as simple as it could be.....comes from the land of Mayapuri(West Bengal)named after chaitana maha prabhu..one of the avatar of Shri Krishna.

Who says Dancing with a mradanga is disrespectful ....here in india i hav seen many ppl dance with mardanga during araties in the temples.... its a instrument to create music and if u enjoy while playing it and others happy i dont see any disrespect in that ..mahaprabhu and nityananday prabhu did that too..... u guys did a awesome job .
