@@griffix2841 altho suicide season and post human are my favourite albums, sempiternal imo is that staple bmth sound. got everything from the heavy ones like house of wolves and shadow moses to the catchy ones like sleepwalking, go to hell for heavens sake and cyfmh, and then those with the feels like snakes start to sing and hospital for souls. if i had to listen to one album for the rest of my life itd be sempiternal just because of that variety. its the electronics with the heavy one string riffs and the harsh vocals on "softer" instrumentals that is pretty signature to bmth, can never get enough lolol

That’s so fucking rough 🖤 I’m so sorry that you and your family are going through that right now. It’s a different scenario, but I recorded this about a week and a half before my father passed away on April 11 of ‘22. He was in the hospital after a series of strokes. A lot of what I was feeling at the time, the grief of knowing I was losing him, the dread of knowing it could be any day or any moment, the uncertainty of loss, I put as much of those emotions into this as I could. It’s like a time capsule for that time in my life. I’m not telling you all that to over-write what happened to your cousin, rather to let you know that my cover of these songs is explicitly born from grief and I hope that it can give you some comfort during this horrible time. Losing a loved one is agonizing, but music can help us channel what we’re experiencing Sending you and your family love
