I never do this but if my core misses multiple uncontested last hits with an easy animation and good damage, I do find the urge is there. Meanwhile on the other hand you have games where supports do nothing and then flame when their core gets harassed out of lane

Well you shouldnt be missing them then. You are that person's primary win condition. When my primary win condition is garbage, then Ill have to create a different, secondary win condition, which could helping my offlane or roaming with midlaner, or if Im willow or lion and lvl6 or some gold will help be a threat to enemies, I will take your creeps becquse you're gonna waste it anyway.

Dont waste uncontested creeps. If you miss uncontested creeps consistently for a minute or 2, then dont complain about anything your support is doing. Especially since YOU are the core with more damage then your sup. You should still be able to take every single creep even if your supp if contesting it. If you fail in both scenarios, then core role isnt for u my dude.

Thanks for analyzing the replay! I actually laughed when you mentioned the part wherein Void Spirit was dced, but I was thinking that by that point the game was irrecoverable, also a little of frustration in general towards the game state. Your point about wisdom rune timings was spot on though.

Before watching this video: I can relate to DR. Pos1 feels like the player with the least amount of impact on the game. Mostly what you can do is farm and look to fight with your team at the right moments, while every other slot can think from start to finish how to impact the game in the most positive way for their team. Genuinely curious what this video will teach us about pos1.

Don't know, i have a friend who likes to farm very much, espacially when he dies in one fight. We lost so many games where he didn't even try to fight, because he thinks he needs more items. In these situations, I had the feeling that i could not do anything. We couldnt defend racks and had to wait for the pos 1 to join. I felt completly uselesse, cause I had zero chance to improve the game

Frost arrow after gust, ALWAYS. (when running) You're facing that way anyway. With multuple enemies, q wave of multishot. Drow actually has good utility imo.

Match ID: 7250311914 Techies 4 (Archon Bracket) Laning was relatively fine imo (bottom lane), though I underestimated veno's q plus blood grenade and could've used e like 5 seconds earlier. At some point during the laning phase, the lich sniper and bb started flaming the ursa because he last picked ursa mid. Looking at the level comparison, I found out that the ursa had the same level as the storm in which I concluded that he was doing okay. At minute 7, the ursa stole a wisdom rune LITERALLY in front of me, a level 4 Techies. I was slightly tilted and reported the Ursa for griefing (I didn't type anything). They (lich sniper and bb) flamed the ursa for jungling and leaving mid lane empty so I decided to go there and get some last hit and exp since my wisdom rune was stolen. I was in a completely awkward situation where I didn't want to blame the ursa too but I didn't want to defend the ursa to avoid being blamed to by them. I tried to distract them by typing we need magic res and pinged that I need some gold to get glimmer. I felt the the ursa was naive after the laning phase because he literally walked through a twin gate while under enemy vision (I was dewarding at that time) at minute 20. I thought at the time that we couldn't 5v5 them since we're behind but the Ursa kept walking anyway and obviously he died and rosh was taken by the enemy. At some point, I thought that we need pipe because they have quite a lot of magic damage. I looked at bb's item and he has an eternal shroud and pt instead of arcane boots and pipe (I thought the latter was better because I'm the only one with arcane boots, our team is quite mana dependent, and sniper needs some magic res because storm would always jump on him). Knowing this, I decided to farm for pipe myself. Most of the game if not the entire game, we didn't fight them in a fair ground (at least one of us is not available or doesn't have enough mana). In the end, we ended up in an awkward position where a mid ursa has less networth than a position 4 techies. Ursa is flamed for most of the game. There's probably one or two things that I forgot to mention, so feel free to point that out. Also, don't forget the roast, much appreciated.

Match ID: 7248044256 This was a herald game, I tried my best to pull the creeps, secured the farm and kills for Troll, eventually won that safelane but the silencer on my team fed early to the opposing Viper and he got his shadow blade pretty early, then proceeded to gank my whole team. Shit load of sentries was bought but to no use, i felt like it was impossible to control the map and everything went downhill afterward. So, what could I have done better this game as a pos 5 (CM)? It's impossible to carry anything below Legend as a pos 5. Learn to play mid and stomp games. Up until high legend carries will be too random. Any lane could be feeding up until basically Ancient.

As a humble support, I tend not to grief too hard. And since I'm a empathetic fool, I don't tend to blame either, so I'll phrase this differently. I kind of wonder whether I play better while High, or sober. On one hand when I smoke, I tend to "Play" better, as in I make better decisions in lane, and tend actually have less misclicks. I DEFINITELY Communicate more when I am like that. On the other hand, I have a much better map awareness when I'm sober. My reaction times are quicker. And I generally just feed less. Still, I think I win mo - Also, is it okay to blame my team when they pick a jug offlane and a nyx safe lane in the same game? And they both buy midas :) Anyway here is two techies games, And I guess if you can't tell the difference then it's all in my head and you can probably give me pointers way beyond what I'm talking about anyway. I do-- Also only have time for dota like 2 days a week so I've been stagnant for a while. 7254265465 - Techies 7232577344 - Also techies. Im low MMR, i just started playing ranked but the lane swap without saying anything happens so much, someone losing a lane and they just join my lane without saying anything. As well as I'll offer to switch with someone struggling in a losing lane and they don't say anything n stay. Communication is absolutely horrible in low MMR.

Love this style of content, roast the low mmr players!! Game ID: 7257277882 I was Lich this game, one of the higher ranks in this game so I tried to help team organize, but when we needed to 5 man Sky was constantly in the wrong place. He was not warding well and ultimately not contributing much post laning. Pos 2 ogre built auras, pos 3 undying built auras too. I know I didn’t play perfect, but pretend I think so. Hope to see this analyzed in the future!!

match id : 7271302471 I was playing Dawnbreaker offlane and my team mate picked IO as pos 4 , I played the lane right but we couldnt pressure the specter at all cuz of the io pick .. I tried to scare specter on the top lane manytimes to stop him from farming but the team didnt come to kill him, anyways we were doing fine until started randomly feeding and pa and od aint contributing in fights which led specter to be strong and kill us all many times . at the very end pa disconnected and then came back and then od disconnected so we couldnt win the game even when we could kill them all . I only want to know what I could do better as db and I always get confused on what to buy . thanks in advance

Hey Zach, i love this series, i find it very educational and entertaining and i am eager to get roasted by you :D Match ID: 7288855989 I am playing Vengeful Spirit as Position 5 and this game felt like it just snowballed way out of control super fast with the enemy Natures Prophet having the absolute time of his life. I personally feel like i made the safe lane harder than it needed to be by kind of overreacting with a TP to midlane after my midlaner asked us to come help him bc of 3 people mid and then staying to secure him the 6 minute rune (which to be fair did work out). Afterwards i kinda fed against the enemy Underlord and my safelaner wasnt having a great time of it in general so i decided to try and make plays elsewhere to get some food into our Legion Commander. However due to getting some kills and farming like crazy, at this point the NP was already really scary and things only really went downhill from there. Was something about my approach fundamentally flawed and what could i have done differently to tip this game back in our favor? Love your content, keep up the good work!

Match ID: 7277523041 Playing WD pos 5 We lost the game. I had 27 kills, was doing the majority of teamfight damage and winning fights for the team. Our PA just wouldn't push with the team, our axe wouldn't initiate properly. seemed like no matter what i did we couldn't win. Im not sure if this quite fits the video series but here goes Match ID: 7260313946 (low 6k avrg) I am: Ember spirit Why I think I'm right: I got last pick huskar countered so I asked to switch lanes with my offlaner who accepted (but got dumpstered anyway since he picked omni). I don't blame him for losing mid -- it's omni vs huskar,tho I feel he could've done better. Slark VS were flaming me for switching lanes. Tree defended me. I think if I went mid i wouldve been jungling at level3 and the game wouldnt have been much different. Wonder what you think!

7252020186 Chen 4, Archon. I did everything right. Stomped lane with pudge, got all the early towers, even got 2 lanes of rax before the tide turn. My items are all correct., vlad, boots of bearing, pipe, orchid for enemy tinker. I had to carry both dust and wards because the other support refuse to ward, and when he did it was lone observer against riki. Warding as chen is always difficult since there are so many things to do. We lost because the cores got all the wrong item. Tinker was their main damage dealer, pudge bought a crimson for nothing. SF got a skadi for nothing, and buy a very questionable satanic against AA. PL did one of those cookie cutter build. They need orchid or gleipnir, maybe hex to catch tinker, but they did not get those. I was extra mad because when PL died late game he flamed supports for not buying force staff (which zeus should) and even suggest that we lost because all 5 heroes go core item (which is right for zeus but not for me). my item, except the vlad, are all essential, and the only "core" thing i bought was a bloodthorn, which the cores should have bought. i communicated very clearly that we need an orchid, but the cores, despite being 6 slotted did not go for it.

Match ID : 7235111855 My Hero : Undying (Pos 4) Screwed up teammate : LC (Safelane) and Huskar (Midlane) Explanation : In this game, I think that my laning stage as pos 4 was good enough and winning the game until mid-game around 20min. but we started to losing because my safelane dunno how to farm or duel, and my mid dunno how or when to fight. In the end we are losing and give up when enmy started to group up and pushing objective while LC and huskar never stick or help defending. 7253049951 I'm playing axe. Let's ignore the mid and late game completely, to be honest. Not much there is to say about a 1-17 pos 1 Morphling, and the medusa picking a farm heavy mid when there's a farm heavy carry in our team already (Morphling). On my lane though, I felt very let down by my Mirana player, who decided to max arrow first. It got a couple of kills, but I feel like starstorm would have been a lot better, at the minimum to match the Rubick spamming fade bolt. Instead of us being able to pressure the opponents, we had a lot of value lost from arrow being a single target spell and Mirana missing quite a lot of them, and most of the hitting arrows would have been kills with starstorm anyway in my opinion. She also pulled the creeps into our tower a couple of times and generally didn't control the pull camps at all. (Now that I'm done shitting on the Mirana, please take me through the wringer and punish me for not reflecting on my own mistakes daddy UwU)

6.40 : as drow went for gloves of haste , he could have got band of elvinski (6agi) damage + as , my drow early build would be two slippers of agi into wraith band (if needed) else i would rush 2 bands of elivenski which can be used for yasha and pt. That way I could get more faster farm .

I play a TON of 4/5 and see this ALL the time. Where they just keep going back for more and more and more, like they got away with murder their last 5 games and this one they think its your fault since they THINK they know their strategy works. This almost looks like brood doesnt know what the Veno or AM skills even do xD.

7270114738 I'm playing Drow So the lane went not terrible. The Kunkka got left alone pretty fast, and after that, it was just farm trading. I didn't really look at teamfights (bad) because we were winning them. After some point, the LC started jumping in alone against unkillable opponents, and the snap just lost it completely. My team started a lot of fights, where I was telling them to "wait for me", but they went in anyway. gg no re i'm the best and my team sux there is absolutely nothing I could have done better (I challenge you to find even a single mistake in my gameplay, I belong in immortal but am dragged down by teammates)
