Gareth, great review, l love the Mayflower medium curry sauce. Sadly all this chicken comes from Brazil or Thailand. One of biggest manufacturers in lreland / UK got caught out a few weeks ago, they were labelling a product that was produced in lreland, but in fact they were using Brazilian Turkey meat to produce turkey sliced sandwich meat and it was not value/budget meat but premium Turkey meat range. My uncle in North London has butcher shop and he only sells British/Irish meat as general rule, but since lceland opened next door opened to him, he has had offer bulk trays of cheaper chicken breasts that come from Brazil, so that he does not lose his regular customers from local gym near by. Mayflower also makes some of supermarket own brand of this product.

I have chicken ball's in the freezer all the time and crispy chicken strips, Diggers brand are lovely if you can get your hands on them. Very nice. Great video again Gareth. Try some sausage rolls and Duck spring rolls mmmmmmm.

If I am in need of a weekend feast on the cheap I will get tge mayflower sweet an sour chicken balls alongside the mayflower carton of special fried rice & the mayflower carton of chicken curry or the beef . It’s a lovely alternative to ordering in areal Chinese & every bit as good if not better in flavour, I may have a handful of oven chips & a cold bottle of soft drink as I no longer drink the bevvy . It’s not as big a portion as a Chinese takeout but more than enough for one man & plenty of it but at less than half the price.

They do the frozen sachets of their curry sauce in Farmfood and they're really tasty too. I made sweet and sour chicken with a tub of their cantonise sweet & sour sauce that I got from b+m and it was lovely.

I am fairly sure that chicken was reformed (okay but not the best)......Try the M&S Chinese ribs and the sweet and sour chicken (separate chicken and importantly REAL breast)

Not tried these. But, I will. I normally do a my style chicken fried rice, with peas, carrots and broccoli. I use packet, egg fried rice, heat in micro for half the time, and finish off in the wok. Can add any sauce you wish. For Wednesday try some duck spring rolls from either farm foods or Iceland. Not sure if Aldi do them.

Evening Gareth. Oooh these do look good and the sweet n sour sauce too. Did the batter have an Asian spice flavour? One of our chicken brands has made a Christmas special of Turkey Nuggets. They're breaded and shaped like a Christmas tree. I'll be having them with sweet n sour sauce thats for sure. Ok party food suggestions: Bhuja mix to go with the beers.
